The serenity

Nice and quiet, plenty of room in the cottage and in the garden around. Wifi was a bit of a problem. Overall a very lovely stay.

The cottages are in the middle of the most beautiful forest situated above a little lake. It's a very peaceful and harmonious place and visited by lots of animals.

This property has amazing scenery and had everything we needed, but the condition of the property was a big let down. There were many small items in need of repair or replacement. The carpets were badly stained, faded and worn almost bare. The bedroom smelled of mould. The water was brown which didn’t make the spa very welcoming. I wouldn’t return unless they underwent refurbishment.

Poor wifi connection, tv didn’t work in the room toilet wasn’t so clean, owners were nice but need lots of updating, paint peeling from the wall only best thing was full oven and cooktop.

Nice setting and very quiet. Unfortunately we walked into our bathroom to find dried vomit underneath pedestal basin - and not a small amount! Clearly visible! As managers not on site we gloved up and cleaned ourselves. Not a good way to start. Tv did not work and knowing other people who have stayed, they said the same. No internet and dismal wifi. They are old and quaint chalets but it’s really time for some maintenance!

We had the normal cottage and it was good enough for a weekend away (2 adults - late 20's). It is right across the road from the waterfalls which was nice. You are however, attached by the bathroom walls to another cottage which I didnt mind at all. You dont get good/any phone reception down there and if you do it's only good for messaging and not entertainment. Which was refreshing and a good way to put the phones down and have fun with no interuptions. The cleanliness wasn't like a 5 star hotel but it was satisfactory. I was completely fine with that and loved the location of our cottage (1). The owners seemed nice from the 3 minute interaction we had with them. They did leave us alone for the whole stay and it was actually really nice to stay some where and it feel private and personal. The rooms kitchen worked perfectly and they had basic utensils, pan, pots, plates, bowls, cups - if you forget your own. The oven worked fine and was clean. The window was broken but its not the end of the world and I dont really find anything with a wuick fix until you can get jt fone properly in the future. The bed at first didn't seem promissing but give it a chance because I had a really good sleep and my lower lumbar spine wasn't hurting in a while. The locations is about 5/10 mins from town which was convenient.

The little unit had a queen bed, with table and chairs and little kitchenette. I did feel the need to wash utensils, plates etc. prior to use, not washed up totally well. Only a shower curtain in shower, and there was some black mould near tap of hand basin in bathroom. Nowhere to put toilet bag in bathroom nor cases in room. We ended up sitting them in front of TV. I felt it was a little expensive for what you got.
