As a single traveler this was perfect. The single room had just enough space. The bathroom was great and the staff were all friendly.

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was very clean and tidy. There was a little tray with a kettle, coffee, tea, biscuits and some danish.. The location is really good, you can reach easily the public transport to get around London. There are a few cafes,restaurants, off licence around the hotel. The staff is very helpful and let us to leave our backpacks in safe place whilst we were walking to check in and after check out as well.

Very friendly staff, good breakfast. Comfortable hotel in a very good location near Paddington Station. Great for walks through Hyde Park, or along the Regents canal. Some decent pubs and restaurants close by. Will stay here again

Stayed in a single room (18) Small, but compact, clean and efficient. A lot of stairs to the 4th floor so not ideal if you suffer with walking and also the rooms aren't well insulated.
But other than that, perfect for a cheap one nigh trip. Reception staff very polite and friendly.

If it was just about the staff this would be 5 star all round. But...if you have mobility issues this property is not for you. There are endless stairs. Also compared to other hotels I have stayed at in the area this hotel is more like a rooming house or hostel...it is tired and there isn't even a proper reception. The price is excellent for central London but you definitely get what you pay for. I think I would pay a little more and stay somewhere else...and I'm sorry to say that because,as I said, the staff here are really nice people.

Stayed here for a few nights. The room was basic, but clean and the private bathroom was great. Finished in white and very clean. The staff were excellent I have to say, with a chatty welcome and also on checking out. I would stay here again if I am in the area again.
