Perfect for what we required

I know I booked a budget hotel. This one was very smelly. Like a sewer. When I tried to address it I was simply told there was nothing they could do. They eventually gave us another room for our last night. But what a hassle and apathy for what was going on

Even though it was clean it was dated and claustrophobic.

This felt more like a hostel than a hotel. The location is great but that’s it’s only good quality. The staff were either uninterested or simply not at reception, with only individual room locks this felt less than secure. The cleanliness was the worst part, the floor in our room was sticky, the sheets were visibly stained and one of the duvet covers was ripped. The beds are old and uncomfortable. They were also not serving breakfast. Would not stay here again or recommended.

. The property is a bit run down but it looks like they are freshening the interior up. We Had booked a 3 person room and got a narrow basement room w 3 twin beds, which is fine and pretty normal for London standards. But that's kind of where the fine ends, beds were ok, pillows and duvet lumpy. The real issue was the A/C started making a buzzing noise (which seemed to a pump of some sort malfunctioning )and dripping, we only noticed/it started after we had gone to bed. I got the night manager and he cam and looked, but could do nothing and they didn't have any spare rooms, so we ended up getting woken up every hour or so until the buzzing became constant and I finally noticed a switch all the way up by the ceiling that switched off ac and the pump. This stopped the buzzing but the room got really hot. All in all not a great experience and not a great night sleep before a long haul flight.

We booked this hotel for a ttaining course and stayed for 4 nights. We booked a small double room which was cleaned every day and had a good rainfall shower There wasnt a hair dryer, mattress protector and the towels were on the small side. Ni breakfast available but we knew that and there are plenty of food ourlets near by. Was quiet and we experienced a quick and polite check ins. Not a luxury stay but it doesnt pretend that it is and the price was very reasonable for a central london hotel

We had a lovely 2 day stay here. Check in was quick and efficient. Room was as we expected but the shower was amazing! Was not expecting that. The room itself isn’t huge which was fine for us. The only suggestion I would make was that the table and chairs in the corner was surplus to our requirements and there is alot of furniture and equipment in a small space . Didn’t affect us at all other than if we had had bigger cases we would have found it difficult to put them anywhere without them being in the way. Other than that small thing, fab hotel in a great location. We will definitely stay here again.

The room was functional and clean

The room was too hot and th ac didn't always work and when it did, it was very loud. There was a bit of a smell, we think from the bathroom. My earphones went missing and non of the staff were very helpful and didn't seem to communicate very well. Bit we did have a wonderful view from our window onto a corridor and some stairs

Everything very nice no safe though

We spent 3 comfortable night, close to Paddington station with plenty of convenience shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Would highly recommend! Great location and the staff were so helpful , providing information regarding travel and things to do .

No breakfast. Big negative.

Staff were amazing. Helpful and polite. No wifi in room! Told it was the whole floor not working! Two days with no wifi is poor. Bed was very comfortable and spare pillows too. Room was tiny, and the en-suite. Shower only up high so had to wash my hair! The vent needed cleaning. The soap container was tight to the shelf so hard to pump it! Shampoo & body wash provided. Single glazed window and curtains not to the floor so a draft all night. Quiet hotel. Convenient to restaurants, railway and tube as well as Hyde Park.

We waited a long time for the room to be cleaned! We were with a child, so we planned for our son to have a nap after the road and after that we wanted to go to the museum. But we waited for almost an hour for the room. We got to the museum, but we didn't have much time before closing, so we didn't see everything we planned there! Shouldn't family rooms be cleaned in priority over single rooms? Also, this room #7 has no windows, it does have one, but it faces the corridor, not the street, so it's useless.
