Beautiful hotel, with well-appointed, spotlessly-clean rooms. The turn-down service was an unexpected delight.

This is, by far, one of the best and most exclusive hotel I have ever stayed. The amount of detail and service for the guests is unbelievable.

Cleanliness in the Junior suite was an issue but housekeeping was quick to fix the several concerns I found (bathroom floor and toilet not cleaned, stains on the bedsheets and pillows, floors messy, etc). Of note, there was a bad smell in the room upon check in, I asked a housekeeper for room spray and he repeated to me that “the room spray was only for special guests”… This comment made me uncomfortable and unwelcomed…as all guests should be treated special and a clean room should not smell like food and body odor. I brought this issue to the managers attention and he unapologetically and sternly mentioned that another attendant provided the spray and insinuated that the worrisome comment should be a nonissue. I felt more of a burden than a guest at the Akatoki, I would have left immediately after check in but I booked a non refundable rate (lesson learned). They did offer a $75 off for my two-night stay. Although the hotel is Japanese-decor, the service, cleanliness, and hospitality is not. Compliments to the woman that provided turn-down service she put efforts to make my stay as comfortable as possible.

Perfect night away in 5* accommodation.

This hotel is a gem. Unable to stay at The Montcalm nearby, as it is being refurbished, this was a great find. You get a warm welcome from friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are well designed, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with lots of surfaces to store things on - towels and robes are clean, fluffy and (unusually) don't smell of breakfast. A fridge is filled with complimentary soft drinks, some of which are nicely quirky (I had a sugar-free yuzu drink) but the snacks are £3 each. This seems unneccessary - but the vegan cheese and onion crisps were delightful and filled a hole. Mallin and Goetz toiletries are a nice touch - only enough for one shower though. Also, had to use a hand soap which is wasteful. Liquid soap in a refillable bottle would have been better. I enjoyed a cup of tea in the Japanese tea pot and cup - nice touch. Two small problems: The light in the wardrobe did not switch off as the door did not close fully. This could have been annoying. Also, while the shower was nicely powerful, the bath did not drain quickly enough and I was standing in 2-3 inches of water. My real gripe is that this place is really expensive. I got a deal and had some credits - at £300 or so, it is good value. Sadly, it is generally £100-£200 more than this.

Convenient option in Mayfair. Very quiet yet close to shopping and dinning areas

Beautiful hotel for my 12 year old son and I for a 2 night stay in London. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, a few minutes walk to the Marble Arch tube station. I’d definitely stay again.

Upon arrival you are met by lovely staff who swiftly check you in and give you a welcome drink.Our room wasnt quite ready when we arrived but we were a few hours early.We dropped our bags and went for lunch We were in room 503,which was right next to the lift. This concerned us initially thinking it will wake us up though the night, but we didnt hear a peep. The room itself was larger than i expected for central london. It was spotless and well equipped. Had a minibar with a few free drinks (soft drinks) and other chargeable items (alochol) The bathroom was very unexpected,had a tv the bathtub, the toilet was typical Japanese style with heated seats, water spray and a dryer.definitely an experience! For we had avacado on toast with poached eggs and a few items from the buffet. We were lucky that the breakfast buffet was included as being vegetarian, there was very limited options apart from pastries and fruit. One issue however.in the evening, we decided to try the hotel bar.. Firstly, there wasn't much life there, but thats no fault of the hotel.We opted to try something from the cocktail menu and was recommended the Mexico drink.At £22 each i was expecting this to be a pretty good cocktail, made in front of us.But it was simply poured out of a bottle into our glass and served.Really not what i would expect at that price.I want my cocktail made in front of me, fresh so i can see the ingredients etc. I dont know when this was made. £50 in total with service!

After years of traveling and multi trips to London each year for work, we have found our new go-to. Traveler comfort and the finest details were so highly considered at the Prince Akatoki London. The rooms are as well designed as they are comfortable, and the staff is accommodating and highly responsive with requests. We felt well taken care of each day, and were so very happy here.

I moved my stay at the hotel. Everything was spotless. I liked the matcha teas, they have a variety of food choices at breakfast. The room was very clean and there are heated floors in the bathrooms. The staff are very friendly. I would stay again.

Our go to place in London. Love the warm welcome from the front desk, special shout out to Adrian and Isyampi! Great central location in Marylebone, close to Hyde Park, Oxford circus, and station. Great for exploring central London-even on foot!
