The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure that my stay was as comfortable as possible. The room itself was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. And the location was near the newest Beach House in the Island.

When we arrived the host say that they're fully booked and offer to overbook to other cottage. While at the same time there are foreign tourist came after us and the host please the tourist to sit and do proper check in. I mean why? I've make my reservation and pay in advance 3 weeks before my visit, and still didn't get a room! Is it because we're domestic and they're foreigners? Seriously don't bother book here. There are plenty of better much much better cottage and villa in the island.

Had trouble with booking. The 2 sea-view bungalows I had booked somehow were being occupied when my friends and I arrived. And we had been moved to the other 2 bungalows, one of which looks at the nearby cottage, and the other looks straight to the first, lol. There was being a construction in front of all 4 bungalows anyway. Staffs were so nice and lovely quiet neighborhood, though. Can enjoy sunrise and early traditional fishing boats with 5min walk.

Wooden clean cottage, a simple small bathroom with hot shower. The towel was soft and smells nicely. A serene place where you can sleep with the sound of wind and the wave crashing the shore. And in the morning sunshine knocking right on your door, the birds chirping lively. You can rent motor bike and food in the reception. The menu wasn't much but it taste good enough. Maybe the disadvantage were it took around 30min from the harbour and no pool like in the picture. But I'm looking for a quiet place a bit far from the crowd and the beach is in a walking distance. So no disadvantage.

Neither great nor bad. It is on average. The good is the room well fitted, the toilet is okay, clean and water tap running well. The view astonishing. But the location a bit far. Bakung has only 4 cottages, and only the first bungallow has a great view. Breakfast, although said not available, actually served for free but a bit awful.
To wrap up, allow me to give a 3 - 4 star to Bakung Cozy Cottage. Bakung has a great potential, especially when it can co-operate, making synergy with a new established Pari Manta (not operated yet) that located side by side.
