Hotel O Nawangwulan Kediri

Within walking distance to the train station, eateries and shopping area. Affordable and decent. Styled in Peranakan touch dominated by white & grey although it can use more decor to strengthen the theme. The impression is classic. Apparently new property, but already in a degrading state. Fast & efficient big guy in Reception, while others had apparently just workers without proper hospitality service. I tried to reach the owner to share my professional (yet unsolicited) feedback but failed after my text is well ignored for 2 days. Can't convey the message to the manager as his hospitality management background is highly doubtful. I want to see this property prosper on the long run (hence my feedback) as I'm traveling to Kediri every now & then, but not sure if I'd stay here again if up keeping is not addressed. While the cleaning is good, maintenance is absent. A decent transient, no frill room for the masses. The room is a bit cramped with little space to move around and unpack your luggage conveniently. Wall paint started to peel off here and there, not properly patched in the bathroom and mould stain had formed. Wallpaper had even peeled off on one corner. Not sound proofed and you can hear the staff chattering on the ground floor. Didn't use the TV. Just one bright down light with no ambient light, it'll leave you in the dark once you turn it off. Sufficient power outlets to charge your devices. Just one hanging rack in the corner. Good AC. The sheet is thin linen, the pillows are not fluffy, while the bed's comfort is decent. Got a Queen sized bed but the blanket is thin and single sized. Odd. Bathroom is spacious, water pressure is good, hot water is a plenty, brightly lit, towels are fresh, fluffy albeit a bit thin. Toilet shakes due to poor installation and when the neighbor took a shower, the noise of the running water was just awfully loud it woke me from my early evening sleep. Shower nozzle needs cleaning from clogging.

friendly staff. comfortable room. quite cold air conditioner. very unfortunate the sink is leaking. when turning on the tap the water does not go into the water pipe but leaks. the water used after bathing becomes like a puddle. the low point of the water hole seems less than perfect. the shower doesn't want to get hot

Overall I like it, The room is clean and the lighting is also bright. The location is very close to the train station and easy to find food, the staff is also friendly. Only a little smell in the bathroom maybe add some fragrance or camphor.

The hotel is new so everything is great, it's just not soundproof, but that's okay.

The hotel staff is friendly, the service is also good. A little suggestion, sis, in the bathroom, add a tap for ablution, hehe, thank you😁

The room facilities are very adequate for the cheap price. Clean, comfortable bed, complete bathroom, cold air conditioning. Unfortunately there is construction between 7 am and evening which is very disturbing. So if you need peace during working hours, don't stay here maybe for the next 4 months. If you always go out in the morning/afternoon, choose this place.

Clean hotel, clean bathroom, cold AC, smart TV. Good service. You won't regret staying here and the price is definitely affordable.
