All staff are helpful and friendly. Need more upgrade of room facility, more maintenance and more clean

Great hotel, best location, nice view, very comfortable, nice garden.

I need to take my food from restaurant to my room by my self, and there are few stain on the blanket.

Room with lake view more chip than room without lake view, room without lake view so expensive and the facility is so bad & receptionist not follow an request order.

The room was too far from the restaurant. No event at all during the stay.

This hotel is perfect for us finding serenity and rejuvenation. Beach side rooms are much preferable as the view is awesome with lake and hills. Sound of waves in the afternoon and evening is great. Food is great at the restaurant. Even some eateries located nearby.

I visited Samosir on Dec 24th, 2020 with my family. At the first, we didn't plan for it. So, it was a last minute booking that I made on Dec 22nd. I browsed the apps and found Toledo was still have available room. So, I made a reservation of 2 rooms for 1 night. I thought as we will only stay for 1 night so it will be no problem to pick the standard room. But, it was a surprise when we arrived there (it was around 9 PM as the ferry schedule was very busy) and found that the rooms were not ready for staying. The building for the standard rooms is the old building. No lighting around the area and we found that the sink has no water. The shower just have hot water. The good think is the staff is very helpful and kind. He was trying to ask somebody to fix it. But, it seems that they need a long time. Then we asked to him to check if there were another available rooms. Thanks God there were (though we need to upgrade) and the rooms are much better than the standard rooms. The view is very nice and located not far from the lake beach. So, my advise, if you want to stay at here, please pick the deluxe rooms with lake view.
