Kobe PortTower Hotel

First, i want to mention that the front desk staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We booked the standard double room. when we opened the door we immediately realized it was not the room pictured on the app. The beds were so uncomfortable. The room was tiny. The carpet was literally coming off the floor. So much dust that I woke up with my eyes puffed up. The window panes were loose and rattled when a truck would drive by. Stains on everything. Disgusting. The staff were so kind and gave us extra blankets to sleep on top of to make the mattress bearable. They worked with hotels.com to help us cancel the remaining nights. Also weird how they charge the room Night 1: $70 Night 2: $120 Night 3: $22 I think there are nice rooms in this hotel but not this one.

Centrally located easy walk to motomachi station, shopping and the port. Rooms outdated, walls need a good clean, neverthe less comfortable. Beautiful bath and sauna area ideal for soking after a day of adventure

The prices were good and it’s not too far from the station, hence I chose to stay at this property. It’s close to the local monorail station, but if you’re looking for the JR, it’s like a 10 minute walk. bought the room wi th the shared bathroom, but had some issues because I had tattoos. They were flexible enough to open the shared baths to tattooed guest during busy seasons, but you’re only allowed to shower between 11-3am which was a pain, but just something to be mindful of. They have cheap beers during happy hour, and free coffee between a certain time too, which is nice. Overall not a bad experience.

I was an unusual foreigner in this family-friendly hotel, but had no troubles with helpful staff (and some Google translate!) Great breakfast buffet, nice spa, ok exercise room, easy laundry, free drink at happy hour, great location, overall great value.

Hotel and rooms are dated, but the location is just minutes away from Port Tower and Pier (walking distance with Passover connecting from 1/F exit). The Onsen and Stone Sauna is VERY GOOD QUALITY! I would recommend this hotel just for the Onsen!

One night in town for a wedding. Very good location and excellent view from wine bar at top of hotel.

Dont accept some one will help you with your luggage!! And don't ask for help no one will cares

A great location for walking. It’s close to Memorial Park and in the other direction it’s near shopping malls and restaurants. The room was very small for two people.

Perfect location to get quickly into Motomachi area.

Convenient shuttle service from/to Sannomiya Station. Very nice spa area access for 500yen/stay. I love the champagne bubble bath‼️

I was there for 4 days and the maid did not clean my room at all!

The hotel is quite old. The location is ok. The hotel provide shuttle service to and from JR station all day. However, you need to make a reservation.

Ialways use this hotel because of reasonable prices n easy accecc to go train station n shooping mall. There is Free Shuttle bus from Sannomiya station.(Reservation required) I recomend other peple who wants save money.

Staff was very friendly despite language barrier. They have buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Overall a good hotel stay.

Conveniently located, though very close to some roads making it noisy at times. Wifi in the room, onsen, gym and laundry facilities all easy to use and 3 restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful.

What a deal! Make sure and do the spa! Awesome location.

We have a Japanese room without bathroom. Common bathrooms (very clean and with good lotions) and beautiful public baths (be sure to try the magnetic massage in the bath) are on the same floor as our room. Highways and bypasses are outside our room but our room is very quiet and can see the Port of Kobe tower - very nice at night. A maid looks after us and prepare our beds at night. The only negative is very little English information. Yet, the hotel is new and everyone was very pleasant.
