I loved this accommodation! We had our own toilet and bathroom, and the room was spacious and clean. The gem was the free breakfast, which was great. It is between 15-20 mins to Osaka Station and Dotonburi but the tube is right around the corner! Highly recommend.

Really clean hotel! Our room came with free breakfast (standard breakfast, nothing fancy). There's also a water station at the lobby that you can use. Staff is also very friendly. Overall a wonderful stay.
PS: the bed is a EXTRA-FIRM bed, which we like. If you're not a fan of extra-firm bed, this will be too hard for you. Almost feels like sleeping on a futon. There's also only 1 small pillow in the room. Doesn't bother us, but might not work for some people.
Area is quiet, far away enough from the main street. About 5 minute walk to the big street where you'll find most chain restaurants (Torikizoku, Matsuya, etc) and also corner stores. There's a nice cafe right across the street from the hotel, where the baristas all speak English but kind enough to give us big smiles when we tried to speak broken-Japanese :)

This is a well-located property, within walking distance of the castle and transport to major attractions and locations. However, the bed was very firm, too firm. The breakfast was good but lacking in fruit, chioices of drink etc. Late check in.

A bit of a walk up the knoll, challenging for luggage. Only a limited no. of diners around.
The room’s sockets are inconvenient. Free breakfast though. The usual octopus balls famous in Osaka. Can’t complain.

Nice staff, rooms were smaller than expected and breakfast buffet was bizarre. Not bad but not what we were expecting. We had issues with wifi in 601 and they were able to provide us with alternate modes of connection. Location close to Osaka castle - 10 mins walking. Beds were uncomfortable though.

This property was very clean, and the staff very friendly and accomodating. The room is as small as you would expect in a hotel in Japan. You can walk to the castle in only 10 minutes, which was great!
I stayed in 3 different Toyoko Inn's during my trip, and I have to say this one had the worst options for the breakfast, but still a great breakfast!

Only 5 mins walk from Temmabashi station, on a quiet road. Very helpful staff - who went out of their way to help bumbling and linguistically challenged guests -, very good Japanese breakfast included, clean room with storage under the bed for suitcases (why don’t they all do this?!). Tiny plastic capsule bathroom as usual. Window had obscured glass because it was very close to the next building. Bathrobes available, slippers provided, microwave and grill in reception... Reasonable price. A good chain!
