Bandar Baru Nilai or Putra Nilai is a new township in Nilai town, Negeri Sembilan. It is nearest with Nilai Old Town or also known as Nilai. Due to its proximity, and connection through the KTM to Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Kuala Lumpur International Airport, it is a rapidly growing new town. Development projects can be seen as one drives around Nilai. The state would also benefit from the construction of the RM1.2 billion Education Ministry complex which would, among others, house the Aminuddin Baki Institute, Institut Pendidikan Guru, English Language Institute, Tunku Kurshiah College and Nilai Polytechnic as well as the International Islamic University Malaysia’s medical faculty and the International University College of Nursing in Nilai. As a result, the town is occupied by students from all over the world.

By Plane

The nearest airport to Bandar Baru Nilai is the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), which is 25 minutes’ drive to Bandar Baru Nilai. The airport is easily accessible via the PLUS highways. From Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA 1&2) you can take taxi to Bandar Baru Nilai.

By Car

You may use the main highway the North-South Expressway (NSE/PLUS) to reach Bandar Baru Nilai. The nearest exit is no. 215 Nilai exit. Nilai is approximately 3 hours' drive that is 293km from Johor Bharu and 40 minutes from Kuala Lumpur, using the NSE. Nilai is also connected to the state of Selangor via the LEKAS highway which passes through Serdang.

By Train

If you plan to travel by train you may take KTM from Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station (KL Sentral) or Mid Valley Megamall to Nilai KTM Station. From Nilai KTM Station you can take taxi to reach Bandar Baru Nilai.
