If you are on your way to a getaway trip to Redang Island with family and friends, or even just going on a business trip, Redang Island Resort is an accommodation that should be considered in your staying list. After all, this three-star resort is more than capable of catering to your accommodation needs, giving you an unforgettable memory to return with. It is located at the address of Teluk Siang, Redang Island, Kuala Terengganu which is forty-five minutes away if you take the boat from the Merang jetty, roughly about 45 minutes from the Kuala Terengganu city proper.
Since Redang Island Resort is located on the island of Redang, you are free to pick boarding a plane or a boat to go to the island. If you are planning to take a flight, you can board a flight from Subang Airport (SZB) to Redang Airport, in which the journey would take around one hour and 15 minutes. Once you have reached Redang Airport, you can head over to the resort by taxi, renting a car or even taking a walk. There is also another permissible flight route from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to Sultan Mahmud Airport of Kuala Terengganu, which would take about 55 minutes. Once you reached the airport, you can stay at the capital of Kuala Terengganu for a couple days or go on ahead to reach the jetty by land – again; there are options of going by local bus or taxi. In addition to that, a drive from Kuala Lumpur directly to the jetty would take about 4 hours and 55 minutes via E8 route which may or may not be slower due to the traffic and weather conditions. While you are on the way to the resort, you can try to spot a couple of landmarks to assist your searches such as Penarik Beach and Merang Waterfront.
As the guests proceed to check in for a good night’s sleep at Redang Island Resort, they would realize that there are a total of two major kinds of chalets ready to be chosen by them and these would include Seaview Chalet and Rainforest Chalet. Talking about the furnishing, these rooms have been equipped properly beforehand with in-room facilities which include air conditioning, bathroom, shower, desk, minibar, tea / coffee maker, in-room safe, hairdryer, cable television and WiFi connection. Seaview Chalet would have 46 units in total while the Rainforest Chalet would have 52 units in total. Both types have the similar space size of 25 square meters. The only difference here is the room views – the Seaview Chalet would be facing the sea while Rainforest Chalet would be facing the rainforest.
When the meal time closes in and the guests suddenly feel the urge to fill up their tummies, they can absolutely look forward to an enjoyable and savoury meal at the on-site restaurant operating in the hotel compound, namely Santapan Café. Opens on a daily basis serving a meal all day, guests do not have to worry about the lack of dining choices since the establishment is serving a wide range of Malaysian and international cuisines that would cater to all walks of life. In addition to that, if guests are merely looking for a place to socialize and get a quick fix of coffee or tea, they can head on to the Santai Bar & Lounge that is also operating in-house and serving snacks as well as other beverages.
Despite being rated as a three-star resort as it is, Redang Island Resort certainly gives their best to its staying guests by providing quite a range of facilities and services.
