How to Get to the Suunah Koruss Resort

The Suunah Koruss Resort is easily accessible only with private transportation as it is located in the forest. Travelling to the Suunah Korus Resort from Kuala Lumpur will take about an hour via the Karak Highway. The roads leading to Janda Baik and the Suunah Koruss Resort are winding but they are paved. This ease the drive going up there. For those who are travelling from KL Sentral, it is possible to get a taxi or even rent a car there to go to Janda Baik and even to Suunah Koruss Resort. The taxi fare is around RM 100 to RM 180 for a one-way trip. It is recommended to rent a car to go to the Suunah Koruss Resort and around Janda Baik as there are no other public transportations available around the area.

Types of Rooms at Suunah Koruss Resort

Suunah Koruss Resort is a huge place with a number of rooms that available to cater from the smallest number of a single person for a quick gateway, up to 30 people for team building or family meetups. All of the rooms have personal bathrooms. There are basic amenities in all of the rooms such as a desk and a chair, and a television. None of the rooms is equipped with air conditioner, only a ceiling fan in each room, as the Suunah Koruss Resort is trying to keep the authentic feel of a traditional, kampung living. The smallest room in Suunah Koruss Resort is the Getaran Jiwa room that can fit four people. It has two Queen-sized beds with a price of RM 190 a night. The Bunyi Gitar is a bigger room and it has four Queen-sized beds in its two rooms. It also has two bathrooms. The Bunyi Gitar room has a BBQ area and also an open-air shower. It is RM 350 a night. Retro House is a villa that can fit a maximum number of ten people in its three rooms. It has two Queen-sized beds and three Super Single-sized beds, with four bathrooms and one open-air shower. It is RM 300 a night. The Classic House of Suunah Koruss Resort is perfect for a big family or two to stay as it can fit up to 15 people in its four bedrooms and four bathrooms of RM 550 a night. The Classic House has a living hall and an old-school ‘swimming pool’ or better known as kolah mandi in the Malay language. Villa Irama and Villa Panggung are Suunah Koruss Resort biggest villas. Each of them can fit 25 to 30 people nicely and they are perfect for a huge family or friends and colleagues to stay during team building time out. The price for a night is RM 950 and RM 800, respectively. Extra mattresses and pillows are available upon requests for all of its rooms, houses and villas.

The facilities at Suunah Koruss Resort are enough to make the stay at the resort feel just like at a kampung, with everything being made out of woods or bricks. The best facility at the Suunah Koruss Resort is the BBQ pits where guests are welcome to cook their food over open fire. There are a number of BBQ pits at the Suunah Koruss Resort. There are wooden sitting areas complete with tables for the guests to enjoy the food that they had barbequed. For those who want to swim, there is a river in front of the resort. The river is wide, with clear waters and very refreshing. It is open to all of the resort guests.
