Good price. Ok for one night. Free car park.

Very far from schipol airport and Amsterdam central

The only good thing about this hotel is that it that the was clean. Any other thing including the location was zero. I had to come down from the 4th floor to ground floor(using the elevator)each time i wanted a cup of tea plus i paid for it. No restaurants around and the hotel didnt have a restaurant, so i had to use an uber/or bolt to go eat Or place an order. At some point they had spaghetti so i bought at the reception.The Worse part of my stay was that the smoke Alarm kept going off at intervals waking me from my sleep on my 2nd day and on my 3rd night at approximately 06:30 am it was so annoying. Also transportation to the Airports and city centers wasnt smooth.

They were under construction and I could hear it all the time. The shower glass stall was only half, so water kept going everywhere. The WiFi kept going in and out. It was not strong at all. Hotel isn't near anything. The windows don't open all the way. The room didn't have a microwave or mini fridge. There was only 2 outlets in the room and one in the bathroom. Staff is nice though.

Clean, Casino at the side of property but not loud due to it being absolutely nowhere near anything. It’s a 2 hour walk from airport, it’s a €25 for a uber to hotel. If staying here get Ubers to Hoofddorp train station and get day tickets into the centre. Wouldn’t suggest this as an ideal hotel for solo travels or young female travellers as there are men hanging around all hours.

Little disturbance but a big distance to where I needed to be in Amsterdam.

It’s not terrible. If you’re looking for budget this is it. But know, you get what you pay for. Rooms were not the cleanest. There was no toilet paper roll holder so our options were the floor or a shelf up and behind the toilet. After 1 night they came in and cleaned all our towels and left 2 shower towels. This didn’t make sense because we had a hand towel up on the sink so there was no need to take it. Location.. it’s NOT near the airport. A solid 30 minute drive. 50 euro taxi or 30 euro uber. Ouch. Nothing is close even by bike. The whole place just looks like an unfinished project. So again, not terrible and you get what you pay for.

The smoks goes back inside when people are smoking outside near the entrace of hotel which makes the hotel lounge smells unpleasantly. . The body shower gel/ shampoo in bathroom was empty. . There was a large cobweb hanging on the curtain above my bed. It felt like it was going to fall in my face whist i was lying in bed. . Window ceal was dusty . Toilet seat had dark marks underneath i only saw this when i was showering. . TV wasnt working . . No shuttle bus, just Uber. . I felt the place is literally just bed

Property Unfinished And Poor Location

The guy who checked us in was very helpful the best service...but there was no shower wash so had to use the shampoo ...on to the person on the desk in the morning when we checked out ...he would get a 1 across the board not helpful at all ...ask him to help me book a bolt to which he says I don't no anything about it ...all I wouldn't was help with the language...I ended up sending a bolt somewhere else which cost me 20€ before I got one for another 16€....as he says he don't know the hotels address....

HOTELUX is surrounded by fields. It is very quiet at night. By transit it is about 50 min from Schiphol airport. It's much less if you take a taxi to the Hoofddorp Sprinter Train Station. Transit is quite frequent, but at least a 2.5km walk to the nearest bus or train. You can either walk to the bus or to the train that leaves Hoofddorp, but the train is even further. The walk to the bus is quite pleasant along some canals if you pick the right route. For people travelling by car there is plenty of parking. The restaurant is scheduled to be opened in October 2024. Bring food with you until it is open. There was an espresso machine near reception that charged 50 cents for a decent cup of espresso (or tea). Room had unlimited Netflix for entertainment and other options. It was clean and comfortable. Hotels around Amsterdam tend to be very expensive. This one was cheaper. Just be aware of the transportation challenge and then it's a good deal.

It's all good for the price

It a little inconvenient however it is a good hotel it was comfortable and the staff was really friendly and nice would need a taxi to get here. But it is worth the price

The hotel is too far from the main city and difficult to reach Bcie first timers who are using public transportation

Arrived to check in and we were given the keys to a room that was already being used. The staff was really good and acted promply. The second room had a strange smell coming from the toilet so we closed the door and was not too bad. The room was in a very poor state. The walls had loads of stains that was unclear what type of stain it was. The toilet seat was cracked. The vent above the shower was missing, so it was just a hole in the ceiling. Again loads of stains in the WC tiles.
