Great break

We loved our stay at Buko for our honeymoon. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and special. The room exceeded our expectation and was better than the pictures. The room was comfortable and clean. It is in walking distance to many restaurants. We hope we can return!

Enjoyed a lovely stay at the Buko Beach Resort. The rooms are lovely and pool area great for sunset views. There were a lot of mosquitos when we stayed but the hotel does provide mosquito coils for the outside shower and toilet area and mosquito repellent. The resort is close to some excellent restaurants, notably Cala, Chabacano and Bela Vita. We arranged a private island hopping tour via the hotel and it was competitively priced compared to private tours offered in El Nido main town. The hotel is on the beach but it isn’t great for swimming, Vanilla Beach is great and is walkable. Lastly the staff were friendly and helpful.

This place was amazing! Its located in a quieter part of the area, but only 5 minutes from El Nido Town. The breakfast was outstanding and the service was phenomenal. They allowed us a late check out which gave us a bonus day in El Nido. They also were very helpful arranging our tours. This is truly one of the best accommodations our family has had anywhere. The beds were all super comfortable I strongly endorse them!

My partner and I recently stayed at here and had a great experience. The location is fantastic, right on the beach with stunning views from both the dining area and the pool. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Both our room and the communal areas were spotless, which made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. They made the process of booking an island hopping tour and arranging airport transfers very easy and stress-free. We flew into Puerto Princesca and departed from El Nido, opting for the private minivan for both journeys. The location is great, very easy to get a trike from the main road into El Nido town. I unfortunately fell ill for a day during our stay, but the staff very kindly provided me with rehydration salts and probiotics, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. The breakfast options were great and generous portions and in the evening we enjoyed the happy hour cocktails. Only note to keep in mind is that one of the neighbouring hotels has loud music on event nights, although this is cut off by midnight latest and only affected 1 night of our 5/6 night stay. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and we highly recommend!

Beautiful cottage with excellent amenities.

The staff was beyond awesome! They made our stay a joy.

I & my wife really had an amazing time at Buko Beach. We visited this July 2023, and the receptionist Arlyn was so kind and nice. She was able to book us Island hopping tour trip and other activities. We really enjoyed our time there. It was superb. Overall the hotel workers treated us so kindly and with a warm smile all the time. Worthy visiting.

Absolutely charming hotel with individual bungalows. Very comfortable and generous sized. Very eco friendly. Great food and the staff are phenomenally attentive and go over and above to ensure your every want and need are met. Incredible sunset view from the restaurant and beach.

There isn’t enough characters to say just how much we loved this place. From the moment we checked in we were greeted by the most friendly front desk with welcome drink and towel. They took the time to ask if we were celebrating anything and when we told them we just got engaged days prior to our arrival they went above and beyond to decorate our room with balloons, fresh flowers, a signed card and wine! The room was super comfortable and clean. Loved the outdoor bathroom and shower! The resort is small and feels relaxing but still super central to everything. Super impressed the staff got to know us and knew our names. Included breakfast was beyond our expectations, it was fresh and large portions. Highly recommend the mango banana pancakes - I still dream about these! Pool is super nice and provides a perfect place to have a happy hour cocktail from the restaurant and watch the sunset. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Buko Beach Resort has a absolute fantastic staff! Everyone was extremely friendly and went above and beyond in helping us feel safe and welcome. The kitchen was efficient with our delicious meals. We stayed at the Grand Villa because we had children with us at the property. The personal pool was amazing and well worth the stay as our children enjoyed it immensely. The rooms themselves were spacious and clean! Plenty of room to spread out and relax. There are a few areas for improvement. The 2 lower en-suite bathrooms were open to the outdoors without any netting for mosquitoes. This made using the bathroom in the mornings and evenings difficult when fighting off the mosquitoes. We were provided mosquito incense burners, however it was not enough. I must’ve killed 4-6 mosquitoes for every bathroom trip. We ended up stringing an extra bedsheet over the opening and that made a world of difference. If the resort would have attached even a net over the door openings in the bathrooms, that would still allow fresh air in but prevent bugs from entering, that would improve comfort and usability greatly. A few other things were slightly broken- 1 shower downstairs had very, very little water pressure with very little hot water, 1 toilet leaked (though clean water), the wi-fi was dismal at best. Overall though for friends and family of 8, it was a great experience with amazing staff.

Buko Beach Resort was a wonderful experience. It’s a quiet boutique resort right on the beach with beautiful villas and a nice private pool. The service sets this place apart, everyone is extremely nice and helpful. We told them it was our anniversary and they brought us a nice bottle of wine and a card signed by everyone at the hotel. It was such a great, highly recommend!

All of the staff were lovely really helpful, friendly and always smiling. Nothing was too much trouble and they all worked very hard to make our stay a great one.

It was amazing and loved the room service and that breakfast could be ordered to your room. As well having a massage in your room was pure bliss.
