This is a very spacious hotel. The rooms are more like apartments and well decorated. Velvet sofas etc. Not just IKEA . Beds very comfortable. Staff super helpful. Location is great. Not on River but close to all the central spots. This isnt a hang out hotel really- yes there is breakfast and other food available but we never used that as we wanted to eat out and experience the local food scene. Porto is great. Enjoy!

This hotel was incredible! We stayed 4 nights with our two poodles and loved every moment. The breakfast was superb and the staff so incredibly helpful. If you’re looking for the best pet friendly hotel, this is it, highly recommended.

I can’t say enough positive about our stay here. The staff members were exceptionally kind and responsive. The suite with 2 bedrooms was stylish, comfortable and private. The location was perfect. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

During our recent visit to Porto, we stayed at the Condes de Azevedo Palace, marking our first trip to the city. Our experience at the hotel was truly delightful, and we were immediately greeted by a warm welcome upon arrival. We arrived by car and were initially unsure about where to park. However, as soon as I approached the hotel staff while my husband waited outside, the hotel staff promptly assisted us with parking and also helped with our luggage. The check-in process was swift and informative, thanks to Jorge at the front desk. He was thorough in explaining everything and provided us with valuable information about the city and available tours. We greatly appreciated his help, particularly the city map he provided. The hotel's location is excellent, allowing easy access to most of the city's attractions and great restaurants, all within walking distance—there's no need for public transit. We enjoyed the breakfast in the dining room, though the hotel also offers the option to have breakfast delivered to your room if requested at the front desk. The breakfast is Continental, but you can also order eggs cooked to your liking. The breakfast staff were consistently friendly, greeting us each morning with a warm smile. One of the features we appreciated most about our room was the washing machine, which made it convenient to do laundry at any time, reducing the stress of managing dirty clothes. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

We were quite disappointed with the organization of our wedding at the hotel. There seemed to be difficulties from management in finding local partners in Porto, which led to substantial delays—finalizing a quote just 15 days before the event left us scrambling to arrange essential elements such as the venue, flowers, a bar, and a club on very short notice. That said, the hotel staff did a fantastic job, especially Duarte, Rodrigo, and the breakfast team, who were welcoming, professional, and attentive, which we greatly appreciated and which added a positive aspect to our experience. We hope that future improvements will address these issues for a smoother experience for other guests.
