Ideally situated, short distance from railway station and shopping. All hotel staff so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room and hotel spotless - will be booking with them very soon.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and rooms were great. However this time room I got was not so good. Not all lights worked, it was a very cold night outside but the heating in room was not working great and went off over night so room was uncomfortably cold. Then shower drain was not working right either ad shower door didn’t close properly and when got out shower floor was flooded and water nearly reached carpet in room. Informed staff on checking out.

A good hotel in a good location especially if travelling by train to Central Station. The decor is quite quirky! Only complaint we had was that the had run out of Prosecco on a Saturday at 4pm…not a big deal but not good planning considering it was a weekend and close to Christmas.

Booked a twin room for two adults, was given a rokm with a double and sofa bed. Sofa bed very uncomfortable and pillows very soft, no support.poor nights sleep.

It was terrible to say the least. Staff were good but the state of the room was inhabitable. I couldn't sleep properly due to it's being freezing cold. I asked for an extra doubet but still it didn't help. The heating through overhead AC was bad, not good enough for the whole room never made the back of it eg. bathroom warm. This the worst experience I've ever had. I paid too much for this awful hotel room. Again, staff were helpful but the environment wasn't. I might ask for my money back. Instead of comfort they gave me pain. Not again!

No 24 hour bar 29th 30th of november bar not open till 12 big change in just a few months .breakfast still good .lunch and dinner very limited .ran out of tennants lager

The staff where lovely however the room wasnt that great poor curtians so bright lights from the city kept waking em up along with this annoying white light in our room that we were told could be turned off

Room was clean enough with the usual budget hotel. The bed fairly comfortable, if a little firm. Decor beginning to tire a little, the wall was marked near the door and the TV remote control was held together by sellotape. Very little noise from within the hotel and only a little from the street below. Breakfast wasn’t great, buffet style. The hot items had clearly been sitting for a long time and had become tough and very greasy. Perhaps hot items could be cooked to order. A decent variety of cold items available as an alternative but no dairy free options.

Excellent overall. Perfect room for price. Great location. Staff excellent. Only issue was shower had really poor water pressure and every 30 seconds or so the water would get really hot for a couple seconds. Otherwise stay was as good as it gets.
