This really is a great spot and a fantastic deal. Spotless rooms, excellent breakfast, and a perfect location in the old town just an easy walk from the train station. The beds are sooooo comfortable I slept like a baby

We found the character of the property great. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Location is a lovely area in old town, not that close for trains ect especially in the rain but we had Christmas markets right out the front door and plenty of dining options. Staff were helpful organising airport transfers and with local recommendations for sightseeing.

A charming place in a great location for Zurich HB, the main shopping area and of course the old town- where it’s situated. Nearly everything felt walkable from the hotel.
Room was clean with charming touches. Loved the painted murals on lots of the walls.
The staff were so friendly and attentive. Breakfast was plentiful continental-style and is in the same venue as the hotel’s evening restaurant, which serves great traditional Swiss food- lovely decor and ambience to the place.

Excellent hotel with a storied history that goes back centuries. The hotel is the heart of Old Town, just steps from everything. Great staff, great service, and the adjoining restaurant is the most popular fondu and raclette restaurant in town! Our family very much enjoyed our stay in beautiful Zurich. Thank you, Hotel Adler! One warning: all the retail shops -without exception - are closed on Sundays! Only the cafes and restaurants remain open. For shopping, this is a Monday-Saturday town.

Great location, easy walk from main train station, in the heart of the old city. Just steps to views over the river and city and minutes to shops and museums. Very friendly staff. Comfortable, clean rooms. Stayed here twice now and will stay here again.

Loved the free water and cookies every day. We stayed in the family room which was perfect. We asked for a room refrigerator which was delivered in a few hours. We had to cut our trip short due to illness and the staff went above and beyond. Would stay again and strongly recommend.

I liked this hotel. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were great. Breakfast was good and they had complimentary drinks and soft drinks available at all times. My only issue is that if your room faces the street, it can get extremely noisy. I’m not sure if it comes from the bar across the street and just people walking in the area in general, but their were 2 nights where I was woken up at least 3 times because of people yelling outside. It’s not something that can be helped but still frustrating.

Super helpful staff. United Airlines lost my luggage and delayed my flight and Anja and Ramona helped me deal with the airline. Very clean. I really loved our room. Yummy breakfast. Hotel was very central. I wish I could have stayed there longer!

The room itself was very nice, clean, comfortable, and everything felt very fresh. The staff I interacted with were all very friendly and helpful. It’s only a short walk to dozens of eating and drinking options.
