I loved this hotel. Carly, Nathan and Johanna were wonderful hosts that I met. Randy in maintenance stopped what he was in the middle of for a silly TV question and came right over.
Location- can’t be beat- steps from the beach (literally 20 steps- no need to bring a beach cart.)
Live music at night daily in both directions.
We had king bed in one room with sofa bed in living room (turns into full size.) perfect for 2 adults & 1-2 children.
Laundry room(cheap), sauna, indoor pool, balcony, full kitchen with stove, full size fridge/full size freezer. What more could you need?

Had a wonderful relaxing stay. Went for Special Olympics Polar Plunge and turned into a new experience. Love Katie's Cafe!

This property is close to everything and the queen suite we booked offers balconies with great views of both the ocean and the city. The kitchen was nicely stocked and everything worked well. The bed was comfortable and the extra pillows and blanket were nice to have for snuggling on the couch. This is an older property so be prepared for the typical dated fixtures, furniture, and bath/kitchen design. If you don't mind the "not fancy" scene, I recommend the Four Sails Resort for its amazing location and friendly staff.

The room was not in as good of condition as we would have liked—paint was chipped, appliances rusted, ceilings stained, etc. however the balcony was nice with a great ocean view. The other guests were very friendly and the beach access was perfect!

Well the hotel called me the day of me checking in to let me know that the elevator wasn’t working which I wasn’t too upset about , then she tells me I had to move the last night to another room , some tense words were exchanged because I don’t understand how this happens especially since I paid in may over 1000 for 3 nights but she did say she was working to see if they wouldn’t have to move me and my husband , I didn’t hear back from them again until the morning of my last night , 9:18 am to be exact for them to tell me I have to be moved from the 3rd floor to the 7th floor by 11am ! They had the manager call me to tell me he can give me two vouchers to the restaurant inside the hotel worth 20 each for the inconvenience !Talk bout a slap in the face ! I usually don’t leave reviews but I had to inform the next potential customer what they are potentially getting themselves into ! I wouldn’t booked them again if they were the last hotel on earth!

On my to the beach i got a phone call letting me know that the elevator was broken and that we would be on the 4th floor. I was ok with that until we got there. The hallway was hot and miserable, the pool wasn't any better. The ice machine and elevator were broken up to the day we left. On the day we checked in they said that the part would come in the next day. So instead of trying to find a hotel on the fly we gave them a chance to fix it. This was my first time there and it will also be my last.

Property located at the better part of Virginia beach, so the area is good. However, this hotel is outdated. Pool is very small, and located on the 4th floor for some reason, right next to the rooms. So, the noise of kids screaming at the pool every day can be very annoying if you're staying on the 4th floor.

quick weekend get-away to this "condo". It left a lot lacking. It was expensive, very old and the bed was hard (so much so that I slept on the couch this morning). There were no amenities like coffee and creamer for the rooms and the indoor pool looked awful. I didn't get in it. Parking was very tight as mentioned in other reviews but manageable. The only thing going for this place is the ocean view. I wouldn't stay here again.

Drawers and kitchen utincils are absolutely disgusting look to have been never washed by anyone same goes with the room and tub took jacuzzi tub to drain like 1 1/2 hour to drain it

When you think of penthouse you think of luxury. This is not what we got in this stay. The bathrooms were so outdated and the sinks were low. The curtain to the bathroom was falling off from missing hangers. The furniture is old, for as much is being charged the whole suite needs to be remodeled.
