The staff was super friendly and helpful! The location was convenient to a lot of places. Unfortunately, none of the food I ate from the restaurant was good.

This hotel charges destination charges and therefore is undeserving of a good rating.

The hotel was fine for a one night stay. The lobby was very nice but the rooms and the rest of hotel definitely have a budget feel. I was frustrated that they charged us $25/night to self park in the hotel parking lot, which was empty - seems a money grab and I generally would not expect to pay for parking at this type of hotel. And in addition to the $25 parking fee, they charge a $25 “destination fee.” Not a fan of all the extra charges.

Quick night stay I like the location cause I can take a walk at the natural pond across the street ! The breakfast was over blah nothing for me to eat I have gluten dairy shellfish and nut allergies

This is my second stay in this hotel. Both times the stay was excellent. Great location for my needs, very reasonably priced. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. This time I also learned there is a credit towards breakfast. I haven't tried the breakfast yet but in any case, there is a Dunkin Donuts literally around the corner, about 30 seconds walk away.

I would stay here again.

Room comfortably sized and good amenities including fridge and Microwave. Eating are but no desk area. Bed very comfortable. Loved the fixtures in the bathroom. Fitness room more than adequate with good equipment. Breakfast was typical but tasted better than most other hotels we've stayed. Connected Starbucks meant no need to go outside to get great coffee.

I’ve never felt more unwelcome at a hotel. The way the staff handled a situation during my stay was not just unprofessional—it was downright disrespectful and intimidating. A hotel should make guests feel comfortable and valued, but that was far from the case here. The receptionist was unwelcoming from the start, giving me an uncomfortable first impression when we arrived late. Later, my family received a horrifying noise complaint threat. My parents don’t speak English, and my brother only speaks a little. The receptionist came to the room, repeatedly knocked while my family was quietly getting ready for bed, and used a threatening tone, saying, “If you make more noise, I will…” Think about it—do you want to be treated this way? If normal conversation or settling in for the night triggers a noise complaint, Freepoint seriously needs to reconsider its soundproofing system. I would never feel safe settling my family in this hotel again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The lack of basic respect and professionalism from the staff is unacceptable. Turn to other hotels—you deserve better.

Clean stay and the food at the bar was great. There is a Destination Fee when staying here. It wasnt disclosed at any point.

They have a DESTINATION charge !! Over the top parking fee. Both uncalled for and not easily understood during booking.

The atmosphere is odd. The room was great. The check-in area is strange and one is required to spend $25/day at the hotel or be charged the service fee regardless. People who work there are nice and good at their jobs.

We like the room setup. Water pressure was very low making showering difficult. There was a foul odor in the hall. Unhappy with the parking fee and not sure about the mandatory $25 local fees added that can be used as a credit at their restaurant.

Can someone explain to me what $25 "destination fee" is? I've never heard of a hotel that charges you $25 a day to spend at its very overpriced restaurant (a tiny sliver of a cheesecake for $15!). After receiving my hotel receipt, I noticed I was mistakenly charged not once, but TWICE. I called and they will refund the charges, but just a reminder for everyone to check their final receipt. $25 parking charge plus taxes if you are planning on parking there. One good thing about this hotel is that there is a Starbucks next to it.
