Green Granite Inn, Ascend Hotel Collection

Didn’t stay cause had the death of my friends 1 year old and the place said it would refund me but your company is saying no. So your company is a bit messed up.

Nice inn for a short stay. cute lobby and clean rooms

Very good price for a decent motel. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Check in was quick and easy. But it was all downhill from there. We had to swipe the room key 10+ times every time we wanted to enter the room. The room lacked hand towels but still had someone else’s used washcloths in the bathroom. The floors were not as clean as they should’ve been. The headboard had a thick layer of dust on it. There were cobwebs in the corners of the sliding patio door. There were no towels in the pool area whatsoever. On the plus side, the breakfast had decent options and the hotel is in a great location. However, we will stay somewhere else when we return to North Conway.

For pet owners, the pet fee just went from $25USD to $50USD which is too high. The wifi wasn't very reliable or even existing being a few rooms away from lobby. Breakfast was ok. Eggs, sausage, French toast. Reception guy was very rude to people calling in and made a comment that i didnt mention having a dog which i had put in notes of reservation through expedia.

Pet friendly rooms not effectively cleaned between guests -- if you are allergic to pets, take caution. Staff were very friendly and accommodating in helping us move rooms due to poor cleaning conditions of first room. Second room was in better shape.

Second time staying at this property and have no complaints. Love how there are plenty of dining options and shopping near by which makes everything so convenient .Love the pool and hot tub.

Lobby, dining room, fitness room and indoor swimming pool area all were very nice and clean. That’s the good news. The bad news is all about our room. It was an absolute dump. The two queen beds were nearly on the floor. Never seen bed levels so low and near the floor. Just weird. The paint on all of the woodwork was flaked and beat up. The caulking all around the bathroom floor was filthy and the exhaust fan was broken. The worst part was this horrid smell in the room that may have been coming from the mini fridge but not positive. All I know is that all of my clothes stunk and the first thing I did when I got home was throw everything into the wash. Very gross. Maybe we got a bad room because we had our dog with us. Wouldn’t surprise me if they reserve the beat up rooms for guests with dogs. One more positive note, Dillon behind the front desk was awesome and very nice when we checked in but that was the only interaction we had with the staff. The included buffet breakfast was okay. Scrambled eggs, pre-made mini cheese omelettes & french toast were all okay. The silver dollar pancakes were like cardboard and the imitation maple syrup was pretty gross. Fortunately they had bagels, toast, english muffins and little mini-muffins that were pretty good. Also had three types of dry cereal as well as oatmeal. If it weren’t for the quality of the room this rating would be much better. Will not stay at this motel again.

The Green Granite Inn is convenient and an economic place to stay.

Tv didn't worked it took almost two hours to get straightened out. the beds are four inches off the floor, hard to get up from . We used to go here all the time ,not anymore sadly.

The front desk associate was able to move my family and me into a ground floor because we have an infant in a stroller, it was very nice he was very accommodating and seemed happy to do it. I feel like the makeover was a little rushed, the outlets along the head board were all covered by it (it's a beautiful price of wood) only one outlet was uncovered. No microwave but they do have a mini fridge and full bathroom. Over all it was a very pleasant stay for my me and my family.

Room was outdated. Desk chair was all ripped there were stains on the chairs for the table and water was luke warm. Room was huge which was nice. Check in was nice and easy lobby was beautiful

It was a clean hotel and breakfast was good. It was perfect for an overnight trip

Quiet good location just dated

A person in our party, who booked directly through the property, was charged crazy fees and ended up being charged twice what we paid through Expedia. Also another person in our party left their medical card behind in the room. The hotel reached out, but won’t mail the card back, expecting this person to travel back to the hotel, over 100 miles away, to retrieve the card. For these reasons, we will not be staying again at the Green Granite Inn.

No towels for the pool, staff shortage

Booked a king room and specifically requested to have our room inside the main building (not a room where the parking lot is accessible directly from the guest room (not an putside room). Due to wanting better accessibility and a shorter walking distance to the desk, breakfast lounge, and the gift shop. When we arrived (five min after booking on expedia) all of the king rooms were unavailable and in place of our king room, we were put into a queen room on inside the main building on the first floor. The king was 45 more dollars and we were not discounted or accomidated on the price differences. When asked, i was told i was going to need to talk to expedia and work out the refund, AFTER expedia had already told me different. The queen room was filthy with hair in the rub and a bed that was practically on the floor! The bed frame swas ridiculously low to the ground and the heating unit was malfunctioning and not heating the room as it ahould have been. Had no power. I then asked to be moved to a different room again, and we were put into a queen OUTSIDE AJOINING ROOM! with loud guests in the ajoining room and on the backside behind the headboard of our bed on the otherside of the wall was the stairs leading to the second floor outside rooms. In which where we then had ro listen to the night maintainance man thumping up and down the stairs ALLLLL night long and into the next morning. Nothing was done to make up for this terrible experience. Front desk had no care IN THE WORLD

Filthy dirty,bathroom ,rugs are so durty we wouldnt let our 5 year old granddaughter take off shoes ,outlit hanging off the bathroom wall,which would run the fan didnt work, entry door in to our building wouldnt open with our key.Was told by woman at desk to put somthing in door to keep it open ,really !! building sits on the main street in north conway so much for safty ! pool walls & ceiling have mold ,after a great day at the fryburg fair,returned back this room, to find no clean towel,our trash was still there ,so i called front desk to see if we could get clean towels that same older woman said we dont bring them to u , u have to come to the main building bring the durty ones & get your own clean ones.asked about the trash same thing bring it ti main building empty it ourselves, at this point we decided we needed to leave went down the street to the schoolhouse motel a wonderfull ,clean &,nice people, where there was clean towel, trash empty ,& clean rugs/floors we highly recommend .we have reached out to the green granite hotel requesting a refund for the two nights we didnt stay there ,im sure u know how that went, still waiting!!1
