The room thermostat did not work. Even after several complaints and a “maintenance” person, the room still remained at a cold 64. No further attempt was made to correct it.

Rooms and lobby more resembled an upscale Hotel 6 than a Hampton Inn. Must have contracted with a construction firm because that was most of clientele, hence there was mud and dirt all over. Breakfast was less than Hampton standards. The front desk reception was wildly inappropriate on an interpersonal level and did not seem capable with their computer technology (as she stated herself). Asked if the elevators were reliable as the last night one of us would be post surgery with a walker. She said yes. Got to elevators and one was down with a sign that looked like it had been there quite awhile. Went back and asked for a first floor room given the situation but she was not willing to even try to help. When we got to the room the red light was on the lock indicating a dead battery and we had to go back to the front desk. Was very convenient to hospital but would NEVER stay there again or recommend this hotel.

I asked 4 times to get the fold out sofa made up and the made up. I was told 4 times by 4 different people that it would be done. 1 was the housekeeper, 1 was the housekeeper supervisor and I believe the other 2 were managers. Never got done. There was so much dog hair on the sofa that we used up an entire lint roller on our clothes before we left for the funeral. The entire hotel needs to be repainted. I was super annoyed because the rates were high and we were only there because virtually everything else was sold out that weekend. WIll never stay here again. Hilton should be ashamed that they have a brand this bad.

The customer service was excellent but unfortunately the rooms not so much. Our first room was on second floor and before we got too comfortable, we realized that there was mold on the ceiling. I have bad allergies and asthma, so we requested another room. She put is on the 3rd floor, but that ceiling was just as worse. I canceled the reservations altogether.

A multi Millionaire owns this hotel. There is no excuse for it to be so rundown and filthy. Mold in the bathrooms, filthy carpet, tables in eating area never wiped down in 3 days. Plenty of staff to do so. Wires hanging out in the pool. Furniture full of filth and stains. No emergency systems operating when power went out. One elevator does not operate. Green carpet so dirty it is brown and black in the walking path. The list goes on and on. An embarrassment to the Hilton brand.

This was the start of our girls trip, which we stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The stay would have been a whole lot better if there was not this awful smell of mildew in the rooms and hallways.
