Holiday Inn Express CLEVELAND DOWNTOWN, an IHG Hotel

The entire hotel had no hot water for the length of our stay. The staff offered a refund of part of the cost but since I made the reservation through Expedia, I don’t know how to claim that refund.

I checked in at 830 pm after a long drive in. Ready to get a shower and go to bed since my kids had to be up at 5am for a cheer competition. Only to get to my room and have no hot water in either of my 2 rooms and no heat in 1. I was never told about these known issues at check in. When I called about it they were rude and didn’t care. I had to wash my daughter’s hair in the sink with freezing cold water and could not get showers. The floors turned my white socks black from being dirty. There was 1 washcloth and 1 towel. I will never book here again.

Beautiful old hotel in downtown area. Valet service was wonderful. The breakfast was delicious and the attendants were delightful. The front desk was helpful with a late check out when our plans were changed. The only downfall was the elevator which required your key to use and it was not easy.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious.

It’s located very conveniente. But the building and rooms are old.

Our family of 4 loved the location of this hotel. It was a 5 minute walk to the arena, and so much more: restaurants, coffee shops, the Arcade & the outdoor ice skating rink. Our basic room had so much extra floor space. It was fairly quiet for a Saturday night downtown, had multiple close parking options, and a delicious breakfast included. We will stay here again.

We had a great experience with conjoined queen rooms. Our bath tub had a leaky faucet, but otherwise, no major complaints. Very clean, very comfortable, very polite staff. Nearby parking was expensive.

The rooms were nice and bed was comfy!

Loved our stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The location is perfect and the staff was helpful and very kind. Will return next time we come to Cleveland!

Our room was not clean at all/ The table had food on it that was not cleaned the furniture is nasty. Our white socks were black from walking around the floors

Easy to get to from our venue, everyone was great!

The bathroom floor has cracks and the ceiling has discoloration marks

The street for the entrance is very congested. Checking in is challenging if you are in a vehicle because the street is narrow to begin with and it is the area where valet is located. By the time I finished checking in and getting my room key, between ride share services and guest relying on valet, I was locked in.

Downtown within ealking doatance of the nba arena and field. Close to many dining options. Great location
