Noisy fridge, noisy bathroom fan, creaky ceiling so you could hear the neighbors upstairs, overly perfumed room

Room was great, and excellent location. Parking limited but free!. Save hundreds! Staff were great too, thanks for all, the Grove shops and Farmers Market is just 5 minute walking, no need pay parking to go there. Franklin, stayed 4 days (23-27-2024).

Room was extremely small and so was the bathroom. There was no chair to sit on. Had to sit on the bed in order to get dressed probably one of the smallest rooms I’ve ever stayed in

Clean and basic. The bed wsd comfortable, my only complaint is that the room lighting was harsh white LEDs that hurt my eyes.

Very close to the places I needed to be. The room is very small and dated but clean. Breakfast was okay.

Just as one would expect: 1) Comfortable and cozy room, 2) Very good mattress 3) Good temperature control but noisy fan 4) standard bath with terrible toilet paper, 5) Tasty self-serve breakfast, hot waffles 6) Friendly, helpful staff 5*

The hotel was nice and clean, but showing its age as it was probably built in the late 60s or in the 70s. The staff were very friendly. You had to ask to have your room made up each day, but staff were very good and the room was very clean, beds were made and new towels every time we asked. The air conditioner was noisy and the beds were hard. The driveway was incredibly tight and there was plenty of evidence of wall scraping, you need to have a small narrow vehicle or be a very confident driver. Walking distance to the nearby Los Angeles Farmers Markets and the Grove shopping centre.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location near the grove which is what we wanted. Quick and easy checkin. They even had waffles, bagels and fruit for breakfast. Nice little courtyard.

We had such a fantastic day at the Surestay. Ms. Joy at the front desk lives up to her name. She made sure we were comfortable and, although I hadn’t reserved an accessible room, she made sure that I had one that was safe for me. My husband and I came for one night, prior to surgery and were very pleased with the hotel. We easily walked over to Fairfax and had dinner at Canter‘s deli. We were also able to walk to the Grove and enjoy the shopping and of course some ice cream. The hotel is very clean. It is dated, and could use a little elbow grease, but for the price, we absolutely will stay there again. Parking is limited, but we did not have any difficulty finding a spot. If you’re looking for safe, clean, and comfortable – this is your place.

Big thanks to Bridgette Joy, Ms. Joana and Ms. Christy, did an excellent job of helping us out for our stay. Very professional, kind, and friendly service. The location is also ideal for exploring The Grove, Farmers Market and the surrounding West Hollywood areas. Very satisfied.

Room was tiny but clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Window opened to street level so for security reasons you could not leave it open. Breakfast was minimal.

Comfortable bed. Room is a little small. A stand to put a suitcase on would help. Staff is very helpful.

Bridget Joy was the best, she is super friendly and helped us get a room that was a great fit for my husband. Breakfast was good and rooms were clean.

Was shocked compared to the photos, so small and looked nothing like what pictures represent! The bathroom was so small , literally barely big enough to turn around in. Breakfast offered was a joke, beds were so uncomfortable. Paid $$$ for a $50 worth of room.

Breakfast could be a little better. Maybe fresh bagels and cream cheese.

Made a reservation for a room with 2 beds. Got a call the morning of the reservation saying that my room was not available and that they could give me a room with 1 bed for only a partial refund of 20 dollars. For four people in my group, that was not enough room to sleep so I requested a larger refund or other accommodation but they were reluctant to offer much for our group. Overall, would not recommend this hotel as they were unreliable and unwilling to accommodate for their wrongdoings.

Very clean Staff very good

This hotel is in a good location, was fairly clean and offers a free breakfast. However after the first night of a 3 night stay we decided to check out. After arriving at about 9pm we just wanted to get some sleep. We were checked into room 108. This is by far the worst room in the property. Cars park right up to the window giving you little privacy, it's right next to a guest common area where people were smoking and we could smell it coming in to the room, and most annoyingly it was next to the side entrance of the hotel with a spring loaded gate that would slam every time someone came in. After about an hour and a half we asked if we could be moved to another room and were told there were no other ones available unless we wanted to pay to upgrade (albeit to the same room type so I don't see how that would be an upgrade). Being late we decided to wait until morning and found ourselves another hotel. If you are a heavy sleeper and don't mind the smell of smoke wafting into your room then this place is fine for you. Otherwise I'd suggest staying somewhere else.

This hotel was close to my next days appointment and we were able to walk to dinner and breakfast and back.
