I loved the hotel, every staff member was very polite and kind. Especially the reception staff and breakfast kitchen staff were awesome. When I had trouble booking my tickets for the ferry online, the reception staff helped me a lot. Thanks for your help and hospitality. It made my trip even better!

The hotel has some great qualities but also room for improvement. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay more enjoyable. The location is very convenient, with plenty of food options just steps away from the hotel.
However, the condition of the room left much to be desired. The walls were stained and in poor shape, and the chair upholstery was also visibly stained, which detracted from the overall comfort and cleanliness of the space.
While the hotel’s positives are noteworthy, more attention to room maintenance and cleanliness would go a long way in improving the guest experience.

It was overall a nice stay! I think the price is just right for what you get. The front door staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room itself had just what we needed. The breakfast on the rooftop also had a decent selection!

The hotel is located in a lively market area. It’s close to Pasteur Street with good bars nearby. It’s not far to the Opera.
The room we stayed in was q small, but modern so was well organised. The bathroom with rainforest shower was roomy.

It is a small 8 level hotel with 4 rooms per floor. Was surprised at the hospitality and services from the hotel staff. Very friendly and definitely made you feel welcomed. Rooms and everything there looks and feels well maintained. Located in a narrow lane and cars can't stop to wait but it is walkable to many popular shopping area. Many eateries around that area too. Definitely will revisit when I come again to ho chi minh.

Please Be careful with the room descriptions before booking, We booked a premium twin city view room but we’ve been told that there is no such a thing at this hotel by receptionist at the time of check in, they advertised false information to Expedia, they gave us a room with a tiny window in the back with no view, I insisted that they have to honor what they advertised in the app and they told me that’s what they have, just imagine after a long flight you have to deal with these stuff and if you don’t accept then you have to find another accommodation. Customer service doesn’t mean anything to them.

The location is in the heart of the district and easy walking distance to a number of sights, food, & shopping. Just have to walk out of the front door to see the street vendors selling many different goods and foods. It's a small hotel and intimate. The staff were very courteous and friendly. I don't think I saw one person with anything other than a smile.

The staff was amazingly friendly and always greeted us at the door, which they opened for us with a smile.
We found our first room to be pretty small since we have a small child and we were able to move to a family room without an issue, at extra cost, of course.
They were very helpful and always available when needed.
The young lady working the kitchen was soft spoken and gentle, very nice and polite. Iur daughter really liked her as well :)

Walking distance to attractions in district 1 of Saigon. There are so many food and drinks stand right in front of the hotel. Great service and clean. Highly recommended.

Stay 5 nights at Hato rooftop hotel. My daughter choose this hotel base on the reviews and rating.,but truly think it’s misleading and overprice for the quality of the hotel. I booked executive city view king room so hope there is natural light ,requested to higher floor try a to have a better view but it wasn’t happening. Instead I was located at the 2nd floor face the street with the market underneath, once I open the blind I just saw some people looking up and smile to me, so I have to keep the blind closed just to avoid myself being a view of the street.Description and photo of the room stated 22m2 but mine was 15m2 the most.The worse is the aircon not cool. Too hot. I went to reception to see if I can change room but the girl said it’s full. I try to go somewhere else but considering there is some other friends stay there too. Their room is on higher floor and at least bigger than mine with the same category. My son in law speaks Vietnamese and talk to the reception and she finally said there is a room on higher floor but in lower category. The room is a bit bigger and the small window is right next to the staircase where the staffs walk up and down… so the blind still need to be close at all time, no refund of the balance even that is a cheaper category.The sewage smells at all times. All my friends are not very happy as well. For the price I paid I can stay in a better hotel in the same area as I come to Ho Chi Minh often. Definitely not 4 stars as described.
