I recently stayed at this hotel, primarily drawn by the photos of the impressive gym facilities. While the gym met the high expectations regarding quality, my overall experience had some notable drawbacks.
First, I was disappointed to learn that the gym is not open 24 hours. As someone who needed to work early, I could not train at my preferred time of 4 am. The gym only opens at 6:30 am, which was inconvenient given my schedule. While I understand the hotel does not own the gym, the fact that it's promoted as a key amenity for guests should come with greater accessibility, especially for those paying for the privilege.
When I finally used the gym, I was impressed by its equipment and overall quality—it’s easily one of the best gyms I’ve seen associated with a hotel. There was a downside: the proximity to the heated pool below. The smell of chlorine and the heat rising into the gym made breathing somewhat uncomfortable and challenging during my workout.
As for the hotel itself, the location is decent, though there isn’t much to do nearby. Breakfast, however, left much to be desired. Hygiene was a concern—the utensils for serving items like ham and cheese were placed directly on the food, with the handles touching the food. This undermines the purpose of having utensils and raises concerns about cross-contamination.
