Visually, the hotel is really nice! I loved the style/decor throughout and I thought the room was really nice, I liked the unique design aspects. The beds were comfortable and the room was very quiet at night. We felt it was pretty cold in the room but we had full control of the thermostat so it wasnt an issue. I only had 2 small "complaints". I felt that the room was very dim without a lot of bright lights. It wasn't an issue for us, but I could see some people not liking that. There was also very little space at the bathroom sink/mirror, so given the minimal lighting it could be an issue for some if several people need to get ready/do hair and makeup at the same time. The shower door is clear glass so keep that in mind if you prefer shower privacy, but there is a barn door to close off the shower and toliet area. The staff was so nice and attentive. We knew at booking that the elevators were out from hurricane damage, but but I also got a text a few days before to confirm that. At check-in, our room on a lower floor wasn't ready, but they offered an immediate room at a higher floor which we gladly took since it was early in the morning and we were tired. We always found a parking spot no matter what time we got back to our room. There are several restaurants nearby and a couple gas stations and Publix. Overall we were happy and would stay there again, ideally once we have more time to enjoy the pool area!

Please fix the elevators or do not operate until they are fixed. It is very wrong to have people stay on the 3rd/4th/5th/6th/7th/8th/9th/10th and 11th floor and expect to them to be ok it. At least over a free night stay. I saw an older woman overly exhausted from climbing all those stairs.

I was never informed that after a storm their elevators did not work a month later… the hotel and Hotels.com failed to inform us about the situation. First we were offered our room that we paid for (on the 9th floor), then because of time after just landing and our plans for our vacation… we negotiated to get a smaller room on the 6th floor just to avoid the stair climb with luggage. We were not compensated in any way by the hotel. Nothing. No free drinks, no discount. Nothing. We were offered cancel your room and take it. Well, by the time you arrive at your hotel on a vacation… who has the time to replan? Horrible lack of communication on both the hotel and hotel.com. I’m now rethinking using hotel.com as my go to in the future and looking at other vacation apps. Disappointed

The elevators being out of service was well documented. The Internet being down was not announced. My wife and I both have online businesses and we're forced into alternative web access. It would have been a small inconvenience but loomed large when combined with a 7th story room hike. Coffee shop was good.

Hotel was nice. I usually dont like to complain but I feel I have to in this stuation. Unfortunately the elevators were out. We were supposed to have a room on the 3rd floor, but got moved to the 8th. 4 days of climbing 8 flights of stairs, at 61 yrs. old, makes for a tough stay. We also had no room service during our stay. I feel we should get some kind of refund. Others patrons, that booked with the hotel, were getting 50% off their stay!! Thedesk said they couldn't with us due to the fact that we booked thru Hotels.com. Not ideal

Property is still recuperating from hurricanes. Elevator was down. Given free drink coupons on arrival. Rooms were clean and staff was extremely helpful.

Customer service is top notch... We were accommodated with complimentary breakfast due to the fact that the elevator was out due to the Helene Hurricane. Well, I didn't mind walking up the stairs, that was my workout for the day. The entire staff greets and smiles to you every time you pass by and makes us feel at ease. The room was so clean, the bathroom was pristine, and the area was top notch in the area, Westshore has the best hotels and views of Tampa, very impressive area. I will certainly book this hotel in a heartbeat!

Restaurant staff didn’t speak any English kept randomly stopping what they were saying, looking very confused. Then proceeded to get upset with us for no reason. They phone in the room wouldn’t work and we had people in the room next to us (1101 was there room) up all night long having some very loud adult fun. When confronted they turned the tv up louder. When we tried to call down to the front desk, the phone in the room was not functioning and I wasn’t about to walk down 11 flights of stairs.
