Five nights for day trips in the area

The general room condition was OK but the carpet seemed rather stained and off-putting. The outside of the building looked very tired and in need of a lick of paint. The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Lovely hotel but exterior could do with a paint!!

The bad part of this hotel is the bathroom and toilet are very dirty. The hotel needs a bit of renovation for sure. Overall was ok for just a night.

Great hotel with the awesome staff!!

Fantastic area, local to all shopping areas, Great selection for breakfast and staff absolutely brilliant especially when my mother-in-law fell ill and was very aggerated, thank you.

The area is quiet and clean. However the hotel should have a van to ease the stay of customers who are not driving.

The common in this hotel were old, tired, and worn. It was a bit of a let down walking through the hallways as the rugs were stained and buckled. The room itself was clean but average it terms of looks. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was decent.

Great spot

A warm welcome , a good meal , a relaxing bath , a comfortable bed and a quiet location, what more can you ask for. have stayed at this hotel many times in the past, and have always been made very welcome . It’s not the most chic hotel in the world, but definitely has the important features sorted. The restaurant menu is simple but good and reasonably priced. The breakfast is good value and varied. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly and a credit to the hotel. A special mention must be given to Gregory on reception in the evening, who went above and beyond . stay in many places in Europe and this is one of my absolute favourites, it’s not top end , but it’s not pretentious either, it’s friendly and comfortable and I an always able to relax when I stay here

We chose this hotel as it purports to offer parking, a restaurant and laundry facilities amongst other things. So, we checked in and asked if we needed to book a table for dinner only to be told “We don’t do meals at the weekend!! But there are places a short drive away.” Right!!! I’m happy to drink and drive!! NOT!! So ok. Where is the laundry?? And the reply was “ we don’t have laundry facilities, but we can offer a laundry service at an exorbitant price during the week - but not at weekends” Holiday Inn?? More like Holiday completely ruined.

Hotel was perfect for our trip to Lille for the rugby

A great base to stay. A luck of paint outside and a restaurant open at weekends and it would be perfect

Staff were friendly, hotel was clean and tidy.

The building needs a renovation. Obviously overdue. The bathrooms we had had been renewed. Once repairs have been done- very old carpet removed etc. this hotel will get a knew lease of life. The swimming pool is a real bonus.

Overall it was ok! The room was not so clean I think due to the age of the hotel needs a bit of freshening up. Anyway ok just for a night!

This is great location. for outside of Lille if you have a car. Free parking and 10 minutes to the Lille Centre. It is a bit dated but very clean and the staff are wonderful

Mixed feelings. Muddy car park. Rundown exterior with peeling paint. Reception and bar recently maintained. Threadbare carpet with holes in the room and peeling paint on doors. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds, terrible sofa bed. Disappointing for the price. Would not recommend for more than one night.

Beautiful hotel! Used it as a quick overnight stay en-route to Germany. From the photos, the hotel looked like an average/boring Holiday Inn but the inside was such a pleasant surprise! Rooms were immaculate, cool and well furnished - water was most welcome. The outdoor pool was a blessing on such a hot day and cocktails by the pool in the evening was so civilised after the mayhem that was the Eurotunnel. Staff were very friendly and were happy to help us try out our French. Would definitely use again if in the area

Overall property and room was very clean Air conditioning was spotty. Continually had to ask them to reset something at the front desk. Drain in shower was blocked. I normally wouldn’t say anything but I had to Rémi de them 3 times
