A great location - some furnishings and parts of the room were worn and could do with a spruce up. Lovely staff. Great restaurants nearby, and Palm Cove is gorgeous.

Nice environment, well kept. Pool is good and big. Lots of pool accessories available. Spa and BBQ facilities. Accessibility is easy, convenient close to a coffee shop, restaurants, while other cafes, shops are walking distance. The business centre and gym were reasonably equipped. Room 2410 was okay. Lounge sofa was bit small. Room itself is small. Would have been good if basics like salt and oil were provided. Most apartments have a pantry with basic stuff. Some furniture looked like self built which didn’t suit the pl. the open carpark space is spots are small. The corridors outside level 4 didn’t have aircon, while other levels did. One of the reception staff wasn’t pleasant to deal with, however overall experience was good.

Great pool. Odd layout for access to elevator , long walk down hallway as lift at the end. Unit was nicely refurbished, but could use new mattress. Overall great stay., our second visit to the Drift. Close to good restaurants, pubs and grocery.

Amazing large pool surrounded by tropical plants, very friendly staff allowing late check out plus letting our luggage in locker room. 50 min or even less from the beach..across little supermarket. Great coffee straight below resort. Peaceful athmosphere. Only thing could have been better is the kitchen was very little equipped for us cooking family dinners but still it was not a biggie. We certainly will be back !!!! Loved it.

Drift was nice, it had very basic supplies and would have been enhanced by provision of a few key extra things (I.e salt and pepper, a few more knives and forks). It was also quite noisy, we could hear the neighbours playing music early and late in the day. It was fine but not the best.

Position was great with a beautiful setting kept clean. When you asked for something the response was positive and quick. We stayed in a studio apartment so had kitchen facilities that were okay but with no room to organise a meal. That is no bench at all. We had no table and chairs to sit at to have a meal neither in the room or on the balcony. A table would have helped in the organisation of food.

Perfect location. Short stroll to restaurants, beach and express supermarket. Great pool and spa. Will definitely be back.

Good location - close to everything and ample parking spaces. Also quiet position as property is away from central palm cove. Staff friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the property has had its day and we had expected more from ratings and advertised pics. Room was run down, bed was falling apart, couch and curtains were sticky and dirty, thick dust behind couch, tv units, coming out of air vents and lamps, carpet not vacuumed (ever?!) and stained. Constant damp smell, and cockroaches found in kitchen and coming out bathroom sinks every night. Common for this to occur in Northern Qld apparently for older properties?! Gardens are pretty, and pool is lovely- shame water was too cold to swim in. Hot tub was good temp and grounds were well maintained.

It was a very good experience the facilities were excellent the staff were very helpful. I would recommend the property to all.

I had booked 2 bedroom with 2 double beds ( ie) a double bed in each room. On arrival I we had a master bedroom with double bed. The second room looked like a study with 2 single beds in it!

Spacious. Lacked nothing. Excellent gym. beautiful setting. Helpful front desk.
