My stay was great! The hotel is a little bit older but that didn’t bother us at all. The staff was very friendly and hard working. Olga, the manager, was very helpful and kind when we had a mix up with our reservation. It is a short walk from the port and breakfast was included which was two big positives for us!

People at the hotel were very friendly, we were very well received. Overall, the hotel looks dated and could use some refresh, but for a two star hotel it’s better than expected. It’s great value for money. Pool and beach nearby were great.

Property a little dated but excellent position, we had a fabulous sea view in a spacious studio. Staff were very helpful, loved the private beach, breakfast was delicious & exactly as it should be.

Andros Holiday is a well priced nice hotel right off the main port of Gavrio. If you are planning to rent a car (the only way I would suggest to see Andros Island) then this is a perfect and quiet location to make your home base. The swimming pool is beautiful and steps away is a small albeit rocky beach with chairs for relaxing in the sun. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and the rooms are modest but clean, a place to rest your head - with tv and mini fridge and the balconies have a beautiful view of the island. The breakfast is included with stay, simple options (eggs bacon cheese, and lots of bread) and will fill you up before you sight see the island. While not direct in Batsi or Chora, this place is better priced, quieter and close to the port for convenience. The only true downside was the poor wifi connection-non existent in the rooms and weak in the main lobby.

Other than the view (from room on the top floor) which was amazing, the stay was underwhelming. Having come from Syros where we spent a similar amount of money on the hotel and it was fantastic, coming here felt like we had downgraded to a 2 star hotel. The hotel must have been built in the 1970s and hasn’t seen much love or attention since. It has facilities such as a pool (didn’t use because it wasn’t clean) and tennis court but they receive little maintenance. Staff are friendly but don’t have same drive to provide service as elsewhere. Breakfast was terrible, very low quality with little effort put in to prepare it. The computer available for customer use is held together with tape. The TV in our room would stop working when the door to the balcony was closed. You could smell the drains in the bathroom. The only redeeming feature was the view from the balcony which was amazing.

Where to begin...the pity with this property is that although it is in a spectacular location, it is completely run down. From the parking lot with its broken curbing and weeds to the dark lobby area with worn out furniture, and guest rooms with cracked and broken mirrors, dirty, rusty faucets that dont work, towels with a musty smell and floors that need a good cleaning, the whole place is just a dump. It could be great but no one seems to care about it. It's really a pity because the location and sea views are beautiful.

Pros: lovely setting, generally nice public areas; good pool-side restaurant; amazing views Cons: very outdated: elevator seems to be safety hazard, bathroom in the room was hot, cramped, not ventilated and very old. The hot water didn’t work for two days - but after my husband repeatedly called one night they finally fixed it. A “double bed” was literally two twin bunks side by side with a gap in the middle. We went to the front desk to ask about a true double bed they said they would join the beds but that didnt happen until the next day and then it was a rolled up blanket in the gap - not quite what you’re looking for on your honeymoon.

The worst experience ever. We slept with a mouse on our pillow. I saw it at night but it moved very quickly and thought it was a dream. Next day we saw it over our luggages. Next to me was sleeping my 2 years old son. We left as soon as we realised there was a mouse se in the room. Disgusting!!! Thanks God my son was not bitten from the mouse. Staff was great and very helpful though. On the photo is one of the staff members trying to get rid of the mouse as soon as we reported it.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Andros Hotel except the fact that wifi signal was very poor and no LED TV with international channels was available as advertised. The hotel's location was great very close to the port and the pool was of good size.

The hotel was very good looking on the exterior but inside was more darkly and ugly than what we saw in pictures. We had two rooms, one with two single beds and an extendable mattress which was horrible and not at all comfortable. The bathrooms very old with no improvements ( broken sandstone, broken shower). Our rooms were next to reception desk and were very noisy. You need a car if you want to go to a decent beach. In my opinion the hotel needs a lot of improvements to deserve this price per room.

The location of the hotel is very good if you have a car: less than 500 meters away from the Gavrio port and about 5 minutes (by car) away from lively Batsi. Really big parking area. Really big swimming pool (with salty water?) and pool bar. Personnel kind and gentle, specially at the reception. The hotel areas are spacious and the rooms are large enough, but they need renovation the soonest possible. Breakfast quality is mediocre, and if you go after 9.30 selection becomes very limited. It’s almost value for money, but in no way a 4,3/5 stars!

Very pleasant hotel, even if premises not spanking new. Pool big and well-designed, very cute little beach, very good food--best Greek hotel breakfast I've had in a long time. All in all, would recommend!
