Enjoyed my relaxing stay at Domus Volumnia! The country house rooms are clean and feel like you’re at home with personal touches like robes and slippers. The gardens are beautifully designed with plenty of outdoor spaces to take in the breathtaking view or just sit and read a book. Staff members were friendly and helpful. This was definitely a highlight of my Italian vacation!

This is one of the most beautiful accommodations I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. It wasn’t just the incredible location, which boasts breathtaking views overlooking the valleys of Perugia, but also the warm and relaxed atmosphere carefully cultivated by the owners and their wonderful staff. Everyone we spoke to was kind, accommodating, and genuinely wanted us to relax and enjoy ourselves, not always easy or simple when travelling with two young children. Our little apartment (named ‘Evan’) was perfect for us with two very good size bedrooms, a luxuriously large bathroom, a small kitchen area with table and small couch, plus the very special porch/balcony with a view that is unparalleled. The saltwater swimming pool was essential in the high July temperatures we experienced but the layout was such that shade was available if lying out (though not in the pool itself during the main part of the day - high factor suncream was essential for Irish people like us). The food was delicious and they were very kind to make a special effort to feed an awkward vegan for both for the breakfast (vegan croissant and yogurt specially bought in every day!) and dinner too. I will return as soon as possible and thank you to everyone for an unforgettable visit.

Small and quaint accommodation establishment located right outside Perugia, in a quiet setting with beautiful surroundings and views. Breakfast was very good and staff were very nice and helpful. The only drawback is that since it is an old building, there is no lift. For the rest, I would definitely recommend for those staying at Perugia.

We were three couples stayed their one night, the place is located close to the main street, with lots of steps to your room, we stayed at the ground level these rooms seem to have some remodeling took place which you have to go down from the main entrance, one couple took the junior suite, which was one level above whereas the third couple took the apartment two to three level up, (make sure you bring small size luggage as there is no lift), the other two rooms need some renovation for sure, the place overlooks a great view, and has a comfortable seating outside area for drinking and smoking, we tried their restaurant and I am telling you we had a fantastic meal, we were so surprised that this place has a very tasty Italian cuisine Waow, their breakfast is also good, the people over there were very nice and cordial, we recommend this place if you do not mind the steps
