Fun-filled afternoon. Alona, our guide, made sure to it that everybody had fun. We were 11 in this tour (5 groups). We were fetched at our hotel early in the morning and boarded our boat on time. Ate Alona’s timing was perfect. The islands visited were not too crowded when we arrived. We even got Pambato Reef to ourselves. Highly recommend this tour. No need to line up, worry about food, or even find transpo to and from the wharf. Everything was well taken care of.

We started early and the weather was great that day. We enjoyed so much, especially at Starfish island where aside from starfish there were many fish even in the shallow area. We toured 3 islands and lunch was superb. Thanks to our tour guide she was amazing. Will definitely suggest this to our friends. 😊

How do I get to Honda Bay Island?

If you’re on a DIY trip, from Puerto Princesa City, you can rent a tricycle that will take you to Sta. Lourdes Wharf where the boats are docked. If you booked your tour with a travel agency, transportation is usually provided. Once you arrive, you’ll need to proceed to the Tourism Information Office to register and wait for your boats. Once your boat is ready, you’ll begin the island hopping tour.

When is the best time to visit Honda Bay Island in Palawan?

Island hopping is best done when the air is warm and the sun is shining. And that’s usually during the summer in the Philippines. The best time to go to Honday Bay is from late March to early June. the weather is mostly sunny with very seldom rainy days.
