Split is an accessible city. As the second-largest city in Croatia after Zagreb, Split has good transportation links. From Zadar Airport, there are shuttle buses to the city center for around 8 euros, departing approximately 20 minutes after your flight lands. The journey to the center of Split takes about 30 minutes from the airport.

Split is an attractive destination all year round, but the best time to visit is from June to October. July and August can be hot, while June and September offer more pleasant weather.
