Discovery Parks - Forster

Amazing Cabin, comfortable.a good size and directly opposite the pool.

It was my first time at Foster and my first time at this accommodation. The accommodation facilities were clean, but the internet didn't work well. The gas wasn't on so I couldn't use it, but I couldn't ask because the reception was closed.(9-5)

We only had one night but it was lovely!

I was pleasantly surprised with our stay at Discovery Parks Forster. It was our first park stay and the cabins were clean, the facilities were great. The pool was a perfect temperature! Overall we were really happy and would definitely come back!

Enjoyed our stay, even though we were there for a Funeral. I 1st stay.. will be back with the family

Location was just so serene. If you want a relaxing holiday this was the place to be. Only one thing we were in a 2 story place which was quiet until the top unit was rented out and the noise was pretty bad from the kids running wild upstairs. Would prefer a single cabin next time . Views were perfect pool was great . .

The splash park was wonderful! Amazing sunset over the lake and peaceful environment.

The cabin was very clean but not what I booked. I booked a cabin on the lake however when we got there there was no cabins

The booking stated free wifi however from our unit we could even detect the wifi let alone join it. As I had work to complete this meant driving into town each day which defeated the purpose of staying there. When I queried this with reception they agreed the wifi was terrible and that it may work at night (it didn't). As we were situated directly next to the cafe and their signal was strong I asked if we could join their network however this was declined. The unit we were staying in was also very noisy. We could hear the people upstairs come and go, We could hear their showers and even their conversation. No ideal.

Great location good for families rooms do need a bit of an upgrade - missing blinds or broken and a ripped lounge. otherwise had a great time

We stayed in a riverside apartment. A lovely unit, spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing couple of days.

Good After hours arrival information pack and was contacted by Sam before arrival .

Poor customer service. I called 4-5times to ensure we have a good selective of cabin as more cabins got available on wotif to book... but no clear answer. Just said what we have booked is the best. But NO!!! When we went there our cabin was in front of the yucky scary lagoon. On wotif there were other cabins available on wotif at the time I called... I wish the customer service offered clear understanding and helped make a change to our booking. Previously we stayed at Discovery Parks in Dubbo which was a super fabulous experience hence this time we didn't even look out any other place for accommodation knowing Discovery Parks is here in Forster. Also... the Cabin wise... the dishwasher didn't have buttons to operate properly... had to use a pen tip to push the button!! Like seriously???? This is what we get for spending more than $800 for just two nights!!!???? What a bigget rip off. Will need to think back before we ever choose to stay here again. No bin liners were in the bin. Had to go ask for them with the linen/cleaning staff. Only 2 towels... for 4 people... for 2 night stay!!

The unit was excellent, would come back in a heartbeat.

We stayed in an older cabin which needs updating as I thought the accomodation was expensive for what it was. The new cabins looked good although small but again a little expensive

Disappointing the cafe closed at 2pm & the road to the play area was very wet.. might suggest this be concreted or updated to a more weather friendly ground

Lovely location. Amazing that it is dog friendly, our dog had the best time. Unit was a bit dated but exceptionally clean and very comfortable. We were unaware however that our cabin was not stand alone and the neighbours we had were extremely noisy. You are able to hear the neighbours talking clearly within the unit. If that was not the case it would have been beautiful and tranquil here. We would come again but book a different cabin hopefully!

Fantastic place to stay. So many great facilities, from the swimming pool and water park to the playground & scooter track. There are go-carts, kayaks etc to rent out, and free board games & DVDs to borrow if the weather isn’t good. Great little beach area at the side of the river too. The cafe on site is good, and there’s a big indoor camp kitchen as well as plenty of bbqs. If that’s not enough, there are plenty of organised activities during the school holidays, and you’re only a 10min drive to Nabiac or Hallidays Point. All the staff are lovely. We will definitely be going back!

Great place to go with kids. Lots of family friendly activities. A bit overpriced, but the cabins are brand new and spacious. Cafe food is good but slow and very pricey.
