Great place! Be sure to ask for a reservation at the cafe. If you stay at the hotel, they will get you a table with five minutes notice. They should have told us this at checkin but we found out later.

The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, & the restaurant is great.. But unfortunately, the staff didn’t meet our expectations. They were cold & not very welcoming. We initially tried to secure a reservation at the Rote Bar which is in the hotel, but despite the restaurant being more than half empty, they were not accommodating. They said we need to book in advance even though we are a hotel guest. It wasn’t until the following day that they managed to arrange a lunch reservation, which we did appreciate. However, the overall energy & attitude of the staff made us happy we only booked one night.

We had an amazing stay at the Sacher. We had our 14 month old with us and without having requested anything (just noting that we had a baby on the reservation) they went above and beyond to accommodate. Our flight was hours late and we checked in after 10pm to find a crib, diaper pale, age appropriate toys for the baby, baby friendly bath supplies and the best changing matt we've seen thus far. We're already planning our return to Vienna next year and will 100% be staying at the Sacher again. Phenomenal service and a lovely Viennese hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel in the center of first district Vienna
It’s close to a lot of museums and historical sites, Vienna Opera is across the street from the hotel, Belvedere palace is a 30 minutes stroll away from hotel
The service and food in this place are outstanding. We had a magical stay on the property.

This is a hotel with an excellent reputation that completely deserves it. Elegant, comfortable, and well-located, it has a delightful old-world atmosphere and the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. The concierge staff is extremely helpful, and the Red Bar restaurant is very good. The Sacher isn't cheap, but special offers make it affordable and it offers good value for the money. Perhaps the best hotel I've ever stayed in.

What an amazing stay. This was my families first 5-star experience and the level of quality, care, service may have ruined us to ever stay in another hotel again. They were so kind, even sending us a bottle of champagne and welcoming us with like Sacher cakes, lots of water (which they replenished everyday), a fruit plate, and a kind, hand-written note from the hotel Leiter. They even sent us a free night when my child turns 18. 6 years to go but would love to come back even before then. They even gave us premier seats, jumping the long lines of people waiting to get in. We felt like royalty thanks to Sacher, the concierge, the doormen, and the kind service ladies that made up our rooms. Wow! Thank you, ,Sacher!
