Right now we are in Villa Deste. Beautiful hotel, wonderful view, nice staff - well, most of them. even though a lot of people at the restaurant don't know what to do at all. Unfortunately the breakfast is desperate. Choice is small, the pastry is dry, no vegetables at all. It's a shame that such a beautiful hotel with grrat staff doesn't have a decent breakfast for their guests. We were surprised to be charged for the coffee in the room, we have never seen that anywhere in the world in any other hotel in this price range. Otherwise, you can see that everyone is doing their best to make everything nice and well-maintained. The hotel has a great location. The only minus is the food in the hotel restaurant and the towels, which unfortunately do not smell like you are used to a nice the hotel, they are rather musty. The windows in the room are not insulating properly and the maid left our room unlocked for the whole day after cleaning yesterday, which did not please us too much. Fortunately, everything remained in its place. Otherwise would be 5 out of 5 :-) Beautiful place.

Best spot value for money in Buzios, view is incredible, staff super friendly and helpful, and honestly the hotel itself is great (heated pool in front of the bay)... Breakfast is real high quality. We went there in last minute walk-in reservation ended up staying 2 nights. If you look for nice romantic place, close to everything, it's a no brainer. Buzios being very touristic, I really found vilq d'este as Real authentic luxury experience for affordable budget

It is a mirage maintained by people who have never seen anything like it: landscape, pool or boutique hotel. The hotel itself is interesting and cute, but it is not renovated and the smell of mold, the door creaking, the cockroaches, speak for themselves. Breakfast was served between 8-11. But if you arrived at 9,30, you had to ask him to bring you fruit or coffee, we wsit over 45 minutes for an omlet , even tough there were only 4 people in the room. They were tilting the cofee pot(something like this i’ve never seen before), to drip something from the bottom of the bowl. You simply had the feeling that you would drink leftovers. The waiters Lia was very nice, she save the situation with her behavior and attitude. Last night, we found cockroaches in bad. When announced the reception, they said that are ants. I was really afraid not to take it in my luggage. I think that this note is very high under the conditions in which I paid 300 euro per night in a little rom with the showet running non stop making noise at night and the door creaking, snd yes, it s true, they charge for the cofee in the room, and also is true, the towels are used.

Lovely hotel. My husband and I had great stay there. Would totally go back. Very close to all the main beaches , restaurants and town centre. Swimming pool is amazing and has a beautiful ocean view (Perfect place to see the sunset from). Staff was very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Special thanks to Gabriel. He's a lovely guy and gave us all the good tips about Buzios.
