Great place to stay! Nicely decorated rooms. Hot breakfast with lots of options. The skit shuttle to Lake Louise and Sunshine are right in front of the hotel. Lots of different restaurants are in walking distance. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at Canalta Lodge. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The hot tub was such an amazing amenity. I look forward to staying at Canalta Lodge again when we visit Banff during the summer

The rooms are great! Walking a short distance to town is awesome. Hot tubs and cold plunge a must. Haven’t tried breakfast yet. Check in was Kaotic!

I will definitely stay at Canalta again! I liked the uptown location, still lots of options of great places to eat within very close walking distance. It’s the First stop for the sunshine Shuttle. The Complementary breakfast was very good and convenient. Our balcony room was cozy and classy with a view of the mountains and the street. The staff were very nice. Just a great option and value overall.!

Absolutely 💯 LOVED THIS PLACE! The staff were so friendly! Breakfasts were incredible! Spa and s’mores outside were so enjoyable! Beautiful rooms with incredible mountain views from deck! Can’t wait to go back!

Pro: Good place to stay for skiing; the ski shuttles stop here first before making rounds to other stops, so always plenty of seats to choose from. We loved visiting the outdoor hot tub and sauna after skiing, as well as enjoying the s'mores by the fire pit in the afternoon.
Hotel is ~15 min walk from town; not the worst when weather is nice, but a bit brutal when it's snowing heavily.
No roam pass offered either. Since we have a car, this isn't a deal breaker, but something to keep in mind of.
Free breakfast fuels the skiing well.
Cons: Hot tubs jets are weak. Continental breakfast is the same everyday: sausage, scrambled egg, potatoes, pancakes, and could use some variation.
