There were some disturbance from outside the room but I didn't mind it. The bathroom door is touching the floor so if
you want to close it you need to lift the door the whole way. The door fixure need to be repaired. I needed a room for a night for convenience and service was simple and efficient. Thanks!

There was a roadwork going on in the area. Any sane hotel would at least communicate with their customers that you won't be able to enter the street and to take alternate entry. Also, details showed parking is available, it's a paid parking in the building opposite of the hotel by another company. In that sense, parking is available everywhere in the world. The power cut 3 times while we were in the breakfast room leaving toaster and coffee machines unusable. Someone had to go and call staff to reset the tripped fuse.

Its a good hotel to stay at for a night or two. Complimentary breakfast and coffee was nice, pretty simple but worked for us (toast, cereal, yoghurt, juice). Room and bathroom seemed clean. There is paid parking across the street in a garage. Would stay here again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The queen size room was compact but very clean and well maintained. Ideal for a short visit.
The hotel is located within walking distance to the old town and the metro was a block away.
The area around the hotel was no different to a lot of Montreal. Some properties run down, various standards of hotels and some homeless who krpt themselves to themselves. Ubers were easy to get to and from the hotel. As a budget/2 star hotel located near to downtown I would say the Econo Lodge was good value

After Lelux across the street left me high and dry, the staff at Econo Lodge were a breath of fresh air. They allowed me to store my bags over night, despite my booking being for the following night. They allowed me to collect items from my stored bags part way through the night without question or hassle. The following morning, after hearing about my ordeal across the street the day before, the kind lady at the desk allowed me to check in extra early. All around quality and professional service from everyone I dealt with at this location.

I complained about the ac being too cold and the next day a worker came and turned it off.
It was much better after that.
