It's really peaceful and beatiful place to stay, very close to the lake and a splendid view on the montain. It's getting colder fast here in autumn, so get some warmer clothes and shoes.

We stayed at cottage "l'ours", lake view, for 3 nights. Fully equipped with kitchen tools. Bbq is next to the cottage. Amazing! Little corner of paradise. We could use boats - kayak, pedals,... A lot of hiking paths. Restaurant on a site. We had absolutely beautiful vacation. Thank you!

I was very surprised on how beautiful this pourvoirie was, it was nicer in person than on pictures. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. The lake was crystal clear. We rented a pontoon which was worth every penny. The lakefront cottages are just beautiful. I will definitely go back next summer with family & friends.

Kan-a-Mouche is a little spot of heaven near(ish) to the Tremblant National Park. It is rural Quebec at its best: naturally beautiful, charming, kind, and with lovely, well-considered food. We had one of their motel rooms. It was simple, but also more charming than a typical model (ie log cabin interior, a nice soaking tub under the shower, a small refrigerator in the closet, etc). The room was quite lovely - all the more for its refreshingly reasonable price. The cottages looked even nicer, and were not available when we were there. The proprietors were memorably lovely people, so helpful. We had only one night to spend there while in transit, but will definitely be back to that marvelous spot for a more leisurely stay. PS bring lots of bug spray to anywhere in that region during summer, esp. June and early July. The black flies (which were far worse this year than in most due to late spring rain) were considerably fewer at the lodge than in the national forest. But just be prepared with all forms of repellent when going to any forest in Quebec!

Awesome location. Located beside a lake with mountain in the background. Great for fishing, canoeing and simply relaxing. Host is very friendly and helpful. Restaurant has an outdoor patio overlooking the lake. Wifi coverage could have been better inside the room.

We stayed for a long week-end at the Kan A Mouche for a couple days of fishing, swimming and hiking around the lake. It was a great trip. What is interesting about the Kan A Mouche is that visitors can choose from booking a simple motel room or a cottage of which there are several to choose from. We booked "L'Ours" (the Bear). The price was very reasonable for a fully equipped cottage with stove top plate, a small refrigerator & fully renovated bathroom. We were two but the Bear cottage sleeps three. We were able to cook our own food and the kitchen area is nicely equipped. The lake is kept well stocked with trout. We caught a couple and enjoyed some fresh trout for lunch. Robert was terrific in getting our outboard motor ready and refreshing my memory regarding fish knots and how to set up my fishing rod for trout fishing. There is some fascinating history about the Kan A Mouche and how apparently many famous folks would go there. Hum... Very clean, very original. We loved it.
