We arrived at 4:30 p.m. in the dark. The grounds and building are not well lit.
Reception was easy and welcoming and the receptionist helped us up the stairs with our bags There is no elevator..
She also helped us with the television and WiFi and provided directions to an excellent nearby restaurant.
(The hotel kitchen is closed today, therefore, no dinner or breakfast available.
The room is clean, comfortable and spacious. Television channels are limited and volume set very low.
Very comfortable sleep.

The walls are paper thin and everyone hears every little sound. Like the room that was up at 5 am showering, I heard the water hitting my ceiling like a waterfall. Also, my mattress was very slanty and felt like I was going to roll off the whole night. The grounds are great, though.

Très très décevant: décoration vieillotte, cuisine fermée lors de notre passage et pas un restaurant acceptable à moins de 20 mn de route. Quel dommage que de ne pas prévoir prendre le déjeuner dehors à cette saison et il serait préférable pour un hôtel que la serveuse en salle de déjeuner soit souriante et surtout aimable:Totalement raté

A lovely place to relax during our road tour of Quebec. Served us well for our one night stay. Enjoyed the view and breeze from the riverside seating area for morning coffee and light breakfast. Staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the late evening access to the dry sauna and hot tub to smooth the aches from an earlier rafting trip. Would stay again in the future.
