This was my second time at Midnight Sun and I will go back again. It’s good value and you have a kitchen that you can cook. Parking on site. Whitehorse is not that big so it’s centrally located. The scenery around Whitehorse is really nice and lots of things for outdoorsy people to do.

You had to take off your shoes which was no problem for us but if you didn’t have extra slippers with you might be but it kept the place cleaner that’s for sure The staff was very courteous and helped us check in and carry their bags which is very nice we enjoyed our weekend

The room was very clean and in what I assume was a newish condo that has been turned into ensuite rooms with a shared living space and kitchen. Sadly, none of that made my stay a comfortable one. The man that checked me in was incredibly rude. Check-in occurred at a different property. I was taking notes on my phone about directions to where I was going to stay and the check-in man accused me of not listening and demanded that I put my phone away. He continued to belittle me as I was trying to understand his directions to the the other property It was very upsetting. My travel companion was also shocked at how rudely I was treated.

My 70 year old father went to check in at 11:00pm and was turned away. The room was paid in full and I did not get a refund. I had to book him another room at a different hotel. This is Elder abuse.

This is not a hotel. It is a series of properties that are owned or managed and run as an Airbnb. If you look at the reviews, some are great and some are awful. If the property's management were clear about the fact that this is not a single building, I would have given a higher review. As to the facilities themselves, everything needed was provided for. Essentially, you are getting your own room with an en suite bathroom and a common area for coffee or cooking.

Got an upgrade to a newer/ renovated townhouse. Clean, quiet and well equipped with everything one might need. Location was great. Close to restaurants, the river and to nice walking paths.
