Bedford Hotel

Room was clean and comfortable. I had a very small room with one twin bed. The staff did not go out of their way to be friendly.

Was right on a busy road, but their double windows completely kept out the outside noise.

rooms feel a bit tired and on arrival very very hot, took a day to manage to turn th radiator off which made it cooler but still on the warm side, maybe it was. Cause we were on the 6th floor. The staff were lovely and although unable to offer an upgrade for my daughter’s 21st birthday, they did provide a cake, lovely hand written card and some wine which was really appreciated. The food at breakfast was good, noticeably less on the Monday than the weekend.. overall, I would stay there again as the bus links were fabulous and area felt safe.

Lovely staff especially Siobarn on reception. Ideally located for theatre area and within easy walking distance of Underground and attractions such as Covent Garden. Lovely secret garden which would be great on a summer stay

What a lovely hotel. Staff couldnt be more helpful, the room was spacious and spotless. The hotel even was a beautiful garden at the back

This hotel was perfect for what I wanted. Greatocation with convenient access to public transportation. The staff were lovely and exceedingly helpful. I would recommend the garden view rooms. Some good restaurants nearby and perfect for the British Museum. Thank you,Bedford Hotel. I will return.

Check in was a breeze. Staff were nice. However, I did not have a good sleep as the heating control was broken, so the room was very warm as it was at the maximum.

Rooms were not very clean and the hallway reeked of an over-powerful air freshener, making it hard to breathe as we came/went from our rooms. Staff wasn’t overly friendly or helpful. I chose this place because of the hotel’s “green” policies but saw no more in action at this hotel than any other (just the decor—but how does that help save our environment?). Heat was unable to be adjusted in the room causing us to have to open the windows. No water saving practices in place. I wouldn’t stay again.

The Staff at the Bedford Hotel were incredible. After my phone was stolen while out one day, the staff stepped up to make sure that I had everything I needed. Printed directions, looking up phone numbers I needed, etc. The location is great, and I would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel which seemed to have been recently refurbished. Very nice room, warm, and quiet as overlooking the garden. Pleasant reception staff. Really enjoyed the Christmas early evening hot chocolate! Excellent location.

Overall positive experience. Clean facilities. Only negative was that I got back pains from too soft mattress.

quick efficient friendly check in, slow lift but nice, surprisingly roomy single room with bath tub and great view of activity in Southampton Row.

The staff were all very helpful and nice to deal with. They gave us an early check in which was wonderful since we were on an international red eye flight and exhausted. However, I do not feel the should be categorized as a 3 star hotel. It's much more like a 2 star. They are over zealous in their eco friendly practices to the point where the hair dryers require that you hold down a button on order to get airflow, they provide one very small roll of toilet paper (we were a party of two women and went through the roll in under a day), and they don't provide wash cloths or extra towels unless requested. The room was a decent size, the bathroom was tiny and the water pressure was non existent. You also had to wait ~5 minutes between flushes or the toilet wouldn't empty properly. The location is fantastic, Central to everything, but it is located on a fairly busy street so if you have the street and have the window open you will hear a fair amount of noise (we're from a large city so this didn't bother us, and things were quiet after 1am). We had housekeeping come in and clean once during our stay and they did not do a very thorough job (trashes were not all emptied, shower wasn't cleaned). On the whole, though, this is a good option if you're not picky about the accommodations and prefer location over comfort

Great location, a minute away from the metro, Russell Square, and 15min walking distance to Oxford Street. The hotel is very clean and the staff is beyond nice. Breakfast is delicious. Thank you for the stay, we’ll definitely come back to visit you again.

Their staff are friendly and professional, especially Alexandra, she is very nice and helpful。The room is small and can not control the heat in room. They put the heat and hot water in high temperature, it is a little bit too hot for me. The location is convenient, train is nearby, buses are crossed street. And on Christmas Day, there is no public transportation, we still can walk to many attractions. Highly recommended when stay at London.

Excellent value. Good breakfast. Maybe a mini bar?

A little small (for American standards) but lovely, clean, nice staff, great breakfast and quiet (when facing the garden, i don't know about the other side)
