Room was not clean upon arrival. Staff not trained. No space for dinner. Room service calls not answered. 4 trips down to reception to get basic things like clean towels or water in rooms. Feedback given on site but just ignored.

We had a great stay in Bristol at the Marriott Royal. Room was really clean including the bathroom. Nice comfy beds with spotless sheets. Buffet breakfast set is up for the day.

We’ve stayed in this hotel a number of times over the years because the location is unbeatable. A short walk from the shopping area (Cabot circus) but in a lovely quiet yet central location just off Park Street. Loads of restaurants and bars close by and only a short walk from Cabot Tower and onwards to Clifton. Stunning building and beautifully decorated for Christmas! Carpark is convenient and secure underneath hotel at a decent price. We were able to check in early (very much appreciated!) and were upgraded to a lovely room overlooking the cathedral (also much appreciated!). Quiet rooms and great choice at breakfast. Only let down was the bathroom, shower tray felt a bit unstable and bathroom was not the same standard as rest of the hotel. Also bed was very hard but understandably that’s a personal preference. Overall, would recommend and will continue to return. Thanks!

The Hotel was good ,but the room we had NO VIEWS ONLY BRICK WALLS IN BOTH WINDOWS and dead air in room it was like a PRISON CELL on Lower Ground especially for the price Room Only £194 it was TERRIBLE ROOM

Beautiful property and area of Bristol was very nice. Mattress was a bit old and TV was very old. Otherwise room was nice with complementary nespresso coffee, tea bags and cream.

Good value Sunday overnighted in the centre of Bristol. Hotel lovely and warm, beds comfy. Restaurant is Miller ppand Carter, but there are plenty of options in the area around. Decent breakfast. Car parking is a tight squeeze but good value compared to the others around and is valid till midnight on day of departure.

Could do with an upgrade to the 21st Century with the TV quality in the room, the HD was not HD and could be better.
Syncing the TV channels would also improve the standard.
