DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln

The staff were so very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable, the bed was super comfy. Toilet seat not on properly and fire alarm went off! But i would still definitely come back. Oh and couldn't work out how to get into the car park.

Lovely and clean, staff very welcoming and helpful, good food, can't really fault our stay at all.

Stayed here for business for a couple of nights. Location is great, however, that’s where it stops. The carpets in the corridor on level 2 are quite stained, and look quite dirty. There are lots of cut outs that have been replaced that looks tatty. A so called superior room is simple at best, from amenities, lighting configurations and bathroom layout. No heated towel rails or heated mirrors. When you purchase a superior room and pay £180 a night, I don’t think a complimentary bottle of water would absorb all their profit. Unfortunately for me, I had an isolated unpleasant experience in the restaurant with an arrogant student type waiter who clearly does not understand customer service.

I was only here for 2 days but found it easily, was able to park (if a bit pricey) and charge my car there. Breakfast was good quality and value. The room was very well appointed and comfortable so slept well. The only small criticism was the bar which had very loud pounding music playing in the evening even when empty. Wanted to watch the snooker with a drink but TV was behind the bar so seemed to be more for the staff than the customers. Went back to my room, instead.

Nice property. Nice rooms, good location, great bar and restaurant. The young lady who checked us in was particularly helpful but everyone was so pleasant and helpful. Best hotel I've stayed in, in Lincoln so far and there has been many.

We stayed for one night, the welcome was great, enjoyed the warm cookie on arrival especially. The mattress was the most uncomfortable we’d ever slept on, we therefore hardly slept. We reported this on check out as we’d got in so late the night before. Breakfast was ok. Car park worked well We wouldn’t stay again

Family catch up. Great location. Hotel needs some work looks very tired in places especially the carpets. Hallways smelly. Bar area smelly. Rooms good size, beds lovely and comfy. Private Christmas meal for family was lovely today. Good service and good food. Best part of stay.

Lovely team of people at the hotel, helpful and friendly, food is great

Great Hotel, warm friendly staff, comfortable rooms. Restaurant has nice views over Brayford pool and Lincoln centre up to the cathedral. Good location amongst bars and restaurants. Couple of small things to be improved upon, the speakers in the restaurant need a good clean as spiders webs visible. The eggs at breakfast had been cooked fresh but left under a heat lamp so gone hard unfortunately. Overall a very comfortable night and I will be definitely staying again.

We have been to Lincoln many times and always stay at the Doubletree, but we feel that the property needs a good refit. The sink and toilet in our bathroom both had cracks in them and the curtains needed hanging back on the rail properly. The food in the restaurant at breakfast, although a good selection, was not very hot. The staff were all very nice and the hotel is in a lovely location but I do not think we will be back.

I liked my stay. There is 1 thing I would have liked. At Holiday Inn, they give you door sign saying "I have popped out". I think you should have these too, so you will know who is off site.

Room so nice and so was the bathroom. Room had no big light in just little lamps everywhere, so it was quite dim. Bit of black around the window bed was really noisey and sounded like it was falling apart. However we have atayed here previously with no issues and we would stay again.

Accessable room very good

Handy location for centre of Lincoln. Car parking ok at £15 per day. Breakfast was fine and went to 10 am which suited us. Room and bathroom were fine. Only negative was room not cleaned or towels changed during our stay despite being out most of the day so had to reuse damp towels next day. Check in was very quick. Overall everything was fine and would stay again.

On arrival the staff were very helpful and efficient. Our room was more than expected as we were given an upgrade. The cleanliness of the hotel was very good also the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.
