Reception staff was not really welcoming and not providing enough information about the hotel facility without we are asking for it, rooms were out dated and heater was not turned on , there was no way to control it as it was central heating, radiator never turned on during winter night and they provided portable heater but you are paying around £100 per night and you sleep in a cold room was not acceptable, I wouldn’t recommend and never will stay again ever

Good hotel and facilities.

Good service but window did not shut completely in room and it looked like Temperature control did not work either. Also coffee maker did not work. But there was a kettle and that worked fine. Room was clean as expected. Also this is the second time I have stayed here and the bar ran out of slimline tonic both times!

It's showing its age, looks the same as when I stayed there a few years ago. Time for a refurbishment methinks.

Value for money with car parking fee included, rooms are on the small size, breakfast was excellent

Decent place to stay. Breakfast was really good except the coffee from the machines is terrible. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was good for beach and gunwharf. Would stay again.

Furniture was well worn, food was dreadful, reserved parking meant you could park on the street and then they try to overcharge me by 25%. Strangely I won’t be staying again.

My reccomendation is, Do not book this hotel SPA is miss advertised. They do not have a spa person or area. Steam room and sauna are not working properly. Jacuzzi hasn't been working for 8 months not sure if it is yet Facilities are dirty and old and broken. Just look for yourseves. Staff not acknowledging any complaints neither are they within there own 48hr SLA. Customer service at hotel and remote don't respond and ignore. We checked out with a long line of complaints in front of us. Hotel staff were refunding car park to get rid of customers rather than delayed with issues reported. They advise they can't do anything to help yet they don't help remotely. Still not heard back now from customer service been two weeks since raising complaint. As Expedia keep asking for me to review I will. :) Breakfast is a total joke quality and price. £16.95 Just walk up road to small local places much cheaper and much better. £7 for a pint at bar. My advice book the ibis. Half the price and brand new. Go to an actual spa, pool etc as this place is not what's advertised. I would rate this a 2.5 star hotel. I spend most my time in hotels and I couldn't believe how bad this Is for the price.

Bed v comfy. But had booked because of the jacuzzi and this was out of service. Also the tv only had 6 channels programmed and the service on these was spotty too

A very comfortable room with a great view. Very easy to walk to places we wanted to go to.

Good stay

Staff were excellent. Arrangements for vegans were limited despite prior warning and promises that oat milk would be provided etc Room was only noisy because there was a thick fog in the morning after our stay and the various ships leaving the harbour were blasting on their sirens. Pool was well-managed. Arrangements to use gym and pool were good. Breakfast was good for non-vegans.

Pleasant, spacious and welcoming staff. A good weekend trip for a solo traveller. Woild return with my family.

Would have been 10:10 if the bar had go. Diet Pepsi or Pepsi zero or lime juice in stock Sea view room had view of the sea unlike some hotels I have stayed in
