The long drive into the property was exquisite and in the morning we were gifted to a breakfast of champions.

This is a fantastic hotel and.spa complex in quiet and beautiful countryside.

The hotel was very nice, old and quaint looking facade. I was in the modern portion of the hotel, a distance from reception and restaurant, a few stairs along the route to my room in the 270's, so if you had mobility issues i would ask to be closer to reception. I had a standard double which was a clean and pleasant room, comfy bed, desk and bathroom with bath/shower, tea and coffee making, iron and board, hairdryer, safe and a fan all in the wardrobe. The view was of a grassy square within a block of rooms. I just felt that it wasn't a very spacious room but for me it was suitable. I used the swimming pool, sauna and steam room which were all clean and fairly quiet when I was there at 8am. Breakfast was buffet style with a very good selection of hot food, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, pastries, toast and toppings, juice, coffee and tea choices all regularly topped up. All staff I encountered were very helpful and pleasant. I would stay here again.

Beautiful place… good food and great staff

Travelling as a family with two children, we chose this hotel because it advertises a swimming pool for guests to "pootle around" and invites visitors to "bring the kids" on the website. Hotels.com has lovely photos of the pool, and as our only family break of the year we wanted somewhere we could swim together. On arrival we were informed that there are severe restrictions for family use of the pool. Families with a child under the age of 16 can only use the pool for a very small part of the day - and only at set times (9-10am and 4-6pm). In other words, guests have to adjust their schedule (not possible for us) to suit the hotel, and time in the pool is restricted. Do not book this hotel if you are a family wishing to swim. Neither websites of Hotels.com or the hotel make this clear. The "Restrictions" say that children under 16 in the spa must be accompanied by an adult. What the restrictions do not say on hotels.com is that children cannot be in the pool, even with an adult. I was asked to leave with my child at 10.05am (and then creepily followed by a staff member as I showed my son around the other facilities and gym - also offlimits for a sporty 13 year old). Other negative - we arrived late after long journey and were checked into a dirty room with faulty electrics - staff unwilling to acknowledge the websites are dishonest and misleading - £25 per dog is a rip off and effectively a tax on pets (there is additional £75 cleaning deposit which is refunded).

Amazing stay so clean, friendly staff food is amazing. Just that the sauna was really busy. Would highly recommend.

Great stay as usual, only issue is that our room didn’t have any air con, so we found ourselves quite hot at times. The sauna and steam area was also abit dirty with hair and muck on the floor. Apart from this, the room was cosy.

The location was just right for visiting Bletchley Park and Silverstone. The accommodation was modern, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed an evening meal in Harry’s Bar and full breakfast options. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The layout seemed a little odd as it used to be a training facility formerly definitely explore the original Manor House and grounds. We didn’t use the spa facilities. Would happily stay again.
