Had the best time away in magpie 5. Absolutely loved it!! Very clean, tidy and comfortable. Everything we needed was supplied. The hot tub was amazing! Quiet and peaceful setting. We will be back in November for another well needed break. Thank you very much. Harriet and Marcus.

Myself and my partner recently stayed at Kingfisher for a quick getaway, and it was just what we needed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities. The lodge had a warm, rustic charm, and the peaceful surroundings made it a great place to relax. The location was ideal and the hot tub was a lovely touch too. It was a short but refreshing stay, and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet retreat.

This cabin was lovely for a little break! The on site pub was fantastic, we had amazing tapas which was really well priced. The cabin itself had a smart TV with access to Netflix, Disney+ etc which was perfect for a film night. It was a lovely quiet site and great for relaxing weekend. There are a couple of nice National Trust sites near by for a nice walk.

Myself and my family recently stayed the weekend in the Magpie 6 lodge and had such a lovely, relaxing time. With so many woodland views to see while socking up the bubbles in the hot tub, while under the stars at night or in the lovely sunshine.
With very clean rooms and staff that are so helpful and friendly. They even helped to show our kids an otter on the site and made there day so thanks again.
Would highly recommend for a weekend away escape

If your looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing then this is the place to go. The lodges have everything you need but could do with a tiny bit of updating and a bit more attention to detail when cleaning (but I appreciate the turnaround time from guest to guest is tight).
