The staff were mostly friendly, but our room wasn't really clean and the breakfast was really lacking. Barely any choice in food, you had to go upstairs to find an employee if the can of coffee was empty (which happened pretty fast) and the dirty dishes were piling up on the tables because nobody came to collect them. The beds were small and the windows in our room could barely be opened.

Friendly staff, everything else is poor. Stained sheets, towels are very old and smell damp. Bed was terrible first night with springs sticking out of it, they did change to slightly better one next day when requested. Shower is fantastic very good pressure and hot as cab be. Rooms are dusty and need carpets changing desperately.

Brilliant hotel and price was really good too. Had to pay a deposit which was instantly refunded on check out without any hassle. Rooms needed a spruce up (marked paint etc.) but it was clean, secure and in a great location! Excellent service too! Would definitely recommend!

Let me start by saying front of house staff were very welcoming on arrival and when leaving. We had an issue with our booking but after speaking to many people the issue was resolved to our pleasing. Parking is on street after 6pm - 8am. Room was pleasant and comfortable. We didn’t hear much noise, but it was a Sunday. Breakfast was a bit disappointing! Toast with jams, Boiled eggs, pkt croissants & pain au chocs, apples, great choice of milk alternatives, cereals was more of a child’s choice than adults choice, I could only see cornflakes, I didn’t want coco pops or honey nut loops (nothing against them just not my choice). No hot food was available, not sure if this is everyday or just on the Sunday. Was told at reception breakfast was between 7am-11am it’s even states on the video this time, yet we went for breakfast at 9:40 and the 2 ladies down stairs to start clearing it away at 10am telling us it finishes at 10am. Either shut it down at 11am or let customers know it’s closes at 10am we didn’t have much time to get breakfast just some toast. Breakfast room was very clean. Just get rid of the tiny cups! Get some proper mugs in so we can have a proper cup of tea. On another note we all agreed we definitely would stay at this hotel again if they sorted the breakfast out. This is the reason for a 4 star.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room they gave us had ants in it. Then they shifted us to another room, which still had ants in it. I even saw ants in the dinning area where they serve breakfast. I hope they are able to fix this for the future, but I won't be staying there again.
