Me, my husband and 11 month old came for lunch.. as we walked in we want greeted but there was a big sign saying take a seat.. so we do, we were waiting 20 minutes before anyone came over to greet us. Bear in mind the restaurant was nearly empty. I went over to a man that had pink hair- unsure if name and said we’ve been waiting for a while and he said well you do know it’s bar service… (if we were greeted we would have known) anyway we’ve ordered and food came out, I had fish finger sandwich and the bread was stale. Already abit weary to give my son some food as mine was stale… my son had pasta, mash and peas. The pasta was not cooked fully where it was difficult for him to swallow.. (choking hazard) I will not be returning. Service very very poor. I will also be putting a review.

Stayed here a few times, just outside town. However, rooms a good size and away from major roads so quiet. Staff at the bar (Andy a great barman lsst night) and restaurant very good. Curry was really good one night. Very good value if booked in advance and direct.

We have had another super break at Meadow Farm. We have stayed here a few times now - excellent value rooms and handy having the pub next door. The service in the pub has been excellent especially Seanah and Matt - both very attentive and efficient. Would highly recommend staying here.

Our two rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. This was the perfect place to break our long journey with it being so near our route. We ate and had a drink here and were happy with what we had although it was fairly basic. We would recommend the place as we had a really good night here.

Staff were amazing. Food was perfect, couldn’t fault anything. Gemma was very welcoming and made sure we were all satisfied and comfortable with our table and had a positive attitude all night. 100% recommend.
