The room was excellent as was the hotel, the only let down were the bar prices. £16 for a medium rose wine and a bottle of pear cider.

One of the best choices available in Reading. Rooms are small, like most hotels. Good bathrooms. Good furniture. Very dirty and stained carpets. Very good staff

Very Basic amenities and very old interiors, staff was also quite rude and not showing up for long time after requesting a service. Always required to follow up 2-3 times. Poor management - when asked to speak to Manager as had issues with what I booked and what I was given, staff declined to call upon the manager and said manager was out.

The executive room heating was not working, it was absolutely freezing, I did try sending messages on the app with no reply. I would expect for the price of that room especially with it being so cold outside to have working heating.

Great location for Reading near shops and restaurants. Good value on my booking. The room was a bit tired, needing a renovation.

The hotel is good enough. Good location, clean, and comfy. Let down by a poor shower, and old.damaged finishings in the room.

Requested a double room with a double bed but had a twin room with two singles. Was awoken at 6 am by someone trying to gain entry to the room. Other than that was an ok stay. Staff were friendly enough. Didn’t really use any facilities as was only there one night.

A really nice hotel with convenient public transport connections nearby and plenty of shops to choose from within a short walking distance. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, if a little compact for a family (2 adults 1 child) sharing. For 1 or 2 people the room we had would be perfectly fine. The leisure facilities were wonderful. A small gym, and a nice little pool (maybe 15 meters long?) with poolside sauna and steam rooms. The communal shower in the pool area doesn't switch off (unless it just stays on for a long time) automatically, so I think there should be a sign advising users to switch it off when they're done. It was also slightly broken, with the temperature controls not working.

Arrived late but still got to use the pool, which was cold, steam room good sauna not much heat. Room nice, great big bed, nice layout, like having a shower and bath available. No milk on tray also only one English Breakfast t-bag. The parking price is too high (£20) and should be shown prior to booking, I couldn't afford this and had to make other arrangements.Central located, near the station. Overall will deffo stay their again and this time we need 2 welcome drinks as we didn't get them this time.

Overall it was a good stay, but there were a few things that concerned me. My room didn't feel completely clean when I arrived. I found bits of food near the curtains, and weird red/pink stains on the floor? Like nail varnish? Also the external door for returning at night didn't work. on 3 occasions I had to wait for staff to notice me to let me in.

A convenient and clean hotel ideal for the location of the Town Hall and the centre of Reading. Only one negative during my stay was the USB plug did not work and as I was staying for a work event it was quite challenging. Everything else was good.

Very convenient central location albeit not a salubrious part of Reading. Hotel was clean and the staff were very pleasant. The breakfast however was vile. Every aspect of the cooked breakfast was dry and the fruit juice from a dispensing machine was watered down so heavily that it was almost unrecognisable certainly not worth the £12 they charged for it

Fantastic Location, great for the train. Just the usual city centre grime on the streets as you leave the hotel, but that’s certainly not the hotel’s fault.
