We had a one night stay at the Dove Inn while visiting this part of the country, we booked directly with the venue as we found this to be the cheapest option. Our room was cosy, as per its description. It was located at the back of the hotel, which meant it was quiet after hours. The room was nicely dressed and had a large en-suite bathroom, which was about the same size as the bedroom! We ate in the bar that evening, and the food was delicious - see pic - we also had breakfast before we checked out, and this was nice too. We slept very well in the bed, although initially I thought it might be a little hard; my wife slept all night, which she hardly even does at home!! 😆 Staff were all great.

Food and service excellent (good vegan range too). Nice beers and a very nice garden. Been meaning to go for a few years - shame we didn't try sooner.

One night stay. Comfortable, clean quiet room and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a great evening meal outside in the lovely garden and the breakfast (included in the overnight rate) was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend

Lovely country pub very bright with fabulous hanging basket and large beer garden . Friendly staff excellent meals and lovely spacious clean and pleasant rooms . Stayed for two nights B&B but also had evening meals which were freshly cooked and tasty . We came to visit Winchester and although Micheldever was about 10 miles out there is a station 2 minutes walk away with a regular service which was perfect for our visit .

Great little pub/hotel ideally situated opposite the train station. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and we couldn't have asked for more. Overall this is ideal if you're looking for somewhere a little out of the way or next to the station. It was competitively priced and the staff are excellent.
